????????????Walking around Kichijoji (吉祥寺) station where is the city of Musashino (武蔵野市) in Tokyo (東京), Japan (日本). It was a raining day, but I was walking around JR Kichijoji station (吉祥寺駅) and Keio Kichijoji station (京王吉祥寺駅) of North Exit (北口) and South Exit (南口). “Kichijoji is centered on a compact but very popular commercial area to the north of its train station and to the south a little, with a full range of shops, restaurants, bars, and coffee houses. Kichijōji Station is served by the Chūō Line which runs to Tokyo Central Station in around 30 minutes, Sobu Line, Tozai Line and is also a terminus of the Keiō Inokashira Line, which takes passengers as far as Shibuya, another fashionable shopping center in Tokyo, in around 20 minutes on the express service.” from Wikipedia. Today we travel to Kichijoji and visit Inokashira park, many different side streets and the famous SUN ROAD shopping mall area.
Kichijōji (吉祥寺) is a neighborhood in the city of Musashino in Tokyo.
It is centered on the compact but very popular commercial area to the north of its train station and to the south a little and has an artistic, fashionable, from discount to the highest end shops and restaurants, bars and coffee houses. Kichijōji Station is served by the Chūō Line which go up to Tokyo central station just in 30 minutes, Sobu Line, Tozai Line and is also a terminus of the Keiō Inokashira Line, which takes passengers as far as Shibuya, another one of most fashionable shopping centers in Tokyo.

The western areas of Tokyo are later developed than its traditional central or eastern areas. During the Edo Period the present residential areas of West Tokyo were either woods with various kinds of trees or farmlands to supply the capital with fresh vegetables and they were called as a whole Musashino Plain. Hamadayama was a part of Shimo-Takaido, a small post-station village of the Koshu Highway, and was nothing but agricultural land with a few farmers' hatches.

井の頭恩賜公園（いのかしらおんしこうえん、Inokashira Park）は、東京都武蔵野市と三鷹市にまたがる都立公園である。
1917年（大正6年）5月1日開園。三宝寺池（石神井公園）および善福寺池と並び、武蔵野三大湧水池として知られる井の頭池を中心とした公園である。東京都西部公園緑地事務所が管理している。日本さくら名所100選に選定されている。
井の頭恩賜公園（以下、「井の頭公園」という）は、武蔵野市の南東から三鷹市の北東にかけて広がる公園である。総面積は約43万m2である。
井の頭公園はその中心に井の頭池（約43,000m2）を擁している[2]。井の頭池は北西－南東方向に延びる細長い形の池であり、北西端は二つに分かれ、南東端からは井の頭池を源とする神田川が流出している。神田川の流れの一部も井の頭公園に含まれている。また、井の頭池の西側には御殿山の雑木林があり、吉祥寺通りを挟んで東京都建設局井の頭自然文化園が位置している。雑木林の南側には玉川上水が東南方向に流れ、そのさらに南には「西園」が位置している。この西園には、400mトラックと三鷹の森ジブリ美術館がある。玉川上水の下流側の脇には小さな広場のある「東園」がある。
行政区分から見ると、井の頭池と神田川、西園、東園が三鷹市に属し、井の頭自然文化園と御殿山の雑木林が武蔵野市に属している。
井の頭池から北500m弱にはJR中央線吉祥寺駅が位置している。この吉祥寺駅には井の頭公園に向かう公園口（南口）が設けられており、吉祥寺駅から井の頭池にかけて、若者向けの商店が並んでいる。南東の神田川沿いには、京王井の頭線の井の頭公園駅がある。井の頭公園駅から井の頭池までは至近であり、その間では小さな広場や小道を散策することができる。
Inokashira Park is a metropolitan park that spans Musashino City and Mitaka City, Tokyo.
Opened on May 1, 1917 (Taisho 6). Along with Sanpouji Pond (Shikujii Park) and Zenpukuji Pond, this park is centered on Inokashira Pond, known as Musashino Three Great Spring Pond. It is managed by the Tokyo Metropolitan West Park Green Space Office. It has been selected as one of the 100 best cherry blossom spots in Japan.
Inokashira Park (hereinafter “Inokashira Park”) is a park that extends from the southeast of Musashino City to the northeast of Mitaka City. The total area is about 430,000 m2.
Inokashira Park has Inokashira Pond (about 43,000m2) at its center [2]. Inokashira Pond is an elongated pond extending in the northwest-southeast direction. The northwestern end is divided into two, and the Kanda River, which originates from Inokashira Pond, flows out from the southeastern end. Part of the Kanda River flow is also included in Inokashira Park. On the west side of Inokashira Pond, there is a small forest of Gotenyama. The Inokashira Natural Culture Park is located across the Kichijoji Street. Tamagawa Josui flows to the south on the south side of the miscellaneous forest, and “Saizono” is located further south. This West Garden has a 400m track and Ghibli Museum Mitaka. On the downstream side of Tamagawa Josui, there is “Easten” with a small square.
From the administrative division, Inokashira Pond, Kanda River, Nishien and Higashien belong to Mitaka City, and Inokashira Nature Culture Park and Gotenyama miscellaneous trees belong to Musashino City.
JR Chuo Line Kichijoji Station is located less than 500m north from Inokashira Pond. This Kichijoji Station has a park exit (south exit) that leads to Inokashira Park. There are shops for young people from Kichijoji Station to Inokashira Pond. There is Inokashira Koen Station on the Keio Inokashira Line along the Kanda River in the southeast. Inokashira Koen Station is close to Inokashira Pond, and you can stroll through small squares and paths in the meantime.
