Lace machine (spetsmaskin) at Borås Textile Museum, Sweden
This is a lace machine (spetsmaskin) at Borås Textile Museum in Sweden ( being demonstrated on 2 June 2018. The machine was made in 1930 by the Wilhelm Reising company in Wuppertal-Barmen in Germany. The machine has around 60 spindles (including 2 with coloured threads, which were removed at the end to create a double width). The pattern of swapping spindles is defined by a loop of punched cards.

The exhibition showcases the history and development of ceramic crafts in Pakistan from Mehrgarh c. 7000 B.C. and the Indus Valley Civilisation c. 3500 B.C. to the present day. It features over four hundred historical objects borrowed from the Quetta Museum, the Sindh Provincial Museum, the Department of Archaeology (Punjab), the Department of Culture (Sindh) and the National Museum of Pakistan together with private collections.

Med förebilden från Denver & Rio Grande Western C19 lok klass 70 från 1881. Nr.346. Balwin tillverkningsnummer # 5712. Loket finns bevarat på Colorado Railroad Museum och är körbar.Spårvidden på förebilden är på 3 fot eller 914mm. Modellen är designad av Milner Engineering på tidigt 80 talet.(1983 ) Lars Ljungberg vid spakarna här. Sen ett halvt varv i tomkörning på Sandlidsbanan.
Förebilden kraschade vid Kenosha Pass 1936. Men reparerades på endast 3 veckor! Fick då moderna utformning med plåthytt, flänslös tredje axel etc. Hytten på modellen är med teak från samma år som prototypen byggdes 1881! ( En engelsk Great Northen vagn)

Curt hittade en liten lucka i molnen så att han kunde göra en halv Cuban under hans låghöjds program, vi ser och hör också Leffe som är glad att Curt kunde genomföra uppvisningen fast motorn var lite morgon trött.

Historia
Planet togs fram av North American som en Avanced Trainer, för att möta krav från USAAF på ett bättre skolplan, därav namnet AT.
Många piloter hade gjort sin grundläggande flygträning i en Tiger moth eller en Boeing Stearman, dessa plans prestanda var utmärkta för grundskolning men steget upp till ett jaktplan som P-51 Mustang eller en Spitfire var för stort.Den kraftiga motorn i AT-6:an, samt planets komplexitet med infällbart ställ och variabel propeller, kom att ge planet prestanda som började likna ett jaktplan och flygplanet var oftast det sista steget i utbildningen innan man fick sätta sig i ett stridsflygplan.
Flygplanet kom att byggas i närmare 16.000 exemplar sedan 1935
AT-6 Harvard har funnits i det svenska flygvapnet som skolplan under åren 1947 - 1972. Planen köptes in från de mycket stora sk Surplus lagren som fanns efter andra världskrigets slut.
Totalt har det funnit 267 st, i olika versioner, SK16 i det svenska flygvapnet.

Planet har omsorgsfullt renoverats av Västgöta Veteranflygförening
Serienummret på denna individ är 14A-1098, civilregistreringen är SE-FVU, och har tillverkarts på Noorduyn:s flygplansfabrik.
Under sin tjänstgöringstid inom svenska flygvapnet hade den FV-nr 16073 och var märkt F1 - 73.

Our #BodyBeautifulExhibition ended a successful run at National Museum of Scotland in 2019 and goes on tour in 2020, with a first stop to the Textile Museum, Borås, Sweden.
It displays examples from fashion creatives who are embracing inclusivity and body positivity, exploring themes such as size, gender, age, race and disability. Learn how the industry is calling into question existing practice, and why becoming more inclusive behind the scenes will ensure a genuine reappraisal of contemporary ideals of beauty.

Sweden Walks: Nyköping Castle / Nyköpingshus. Famous for sinister Christmas celebrations 1317
From Wiki: Nyköping Castle (Swedish: Nyköpingshus) in Nyköping, Sweden, is a Medieval castle from the Birger Jarl era, partly in ruins. The castle is mostly known for the Nyköping Banquet which took place here in 1317. The Nyköping Banquet (Swedish: Nyköpings gästabud) was King Birger of Sweden's Christmas celebration 11 December 1317 at Nyköping Castle in Sweden. Among the guests were his two brothers Duke Valdemar and Duke Eric, who later that night were imprisoned and subsequently starved to death in the dungeon of Nyköping Castle. According to legend, king Birger threw the keys to the dungeon into the Nyköping river. A large medieval key was indeed found during the 19th century near the castle.
