AVO Session Festival, Musical Theater, Basel Switzerland.
Full concert at 1080p, includes drum solo and Christmas encore (3 christmas songs).
Main concert was recorded on november 15th and the Christmas encore comes from november 14th.
Special thanks to my friend Christophe Cocoual (France) for recording the drum solo wich was not broadcasted and thanks to my friend Stefano Pavesi (Italy) for providing additional footage from first row (I don't want to talk about it, Sweet little rock'n' roller and Maggie May' close-ups).

Richard Wherlock schickt in diesem Handlungsballett das uns allen wohlbekannte Schneewittchen auf eine Reise durch den dunklen Zauberwald zu den sieben heiteren Gesellen, die das Mädchen fortan vor allerlei Unbill bewahren. Allem voran natürlich vor der grausamen Stiefmutter. Wer also die Schönste im ganzen Land ist, und ob am Ende ein Prinz mit sieben dreh- und sprungfreudigen Zwergen konkurrieren kann, das erfährt man in diesem fantasievoll und bunt inszenierten Märchenballett zur Musik von Dmitri Schostakowitsch.

The Drummeli is the largest pre-carnival event in Basel (Switzerland) and takes place over a week in the Musical Theater Basel. The organizer is the Fasnachts-Comite ( which also organizes the Cortege on Carnival Monday and Wednesday.

Ballettschule Theater Basel
The Ballettschule Theater Basel is a Prix de Lausanne Partner School and is on the list of acknowledged schools for the Dance Scholarship of the Migros Kulturprozent.
The world of dance today is defined through its diversity of styles and directions. The underlying foundation connecting this myriad of movement is a solid classical ballet technique. An advanced command of this technique opens the doors to the multi-faceted language of dance and gives each dancer the means to develop their own individual potential.
Since it’s founding in 2001, the school has maintained a close working relationship with Ballett Basel. The presence of Richard Wherlock, director of Ballett Basel, guaranties an insight into the practical side of the profession and allows students to experience first hand the daily work of a renowned professional company. Students from Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, the USA, Australia and Japan bring an international flavour to the school. The school’s programme includes a professional training program for talented young students who wish to pursue dance as a career as well as pre-ballet classes for children starting at the age of five.
