The Muskoka Wharf is located in the town of Gravenhurst, Ontario on the southern edge of Muskoka Bay on Lake Muskoka. The Muskoka Wharf is the home port of the RMS Segwun, the oldest operating steamship in North America and the last surviving original steamship from the fleet of several dozen that served the county of Muskoka, Ontario in the late 19th century and early 20th century, and the Wenonah II, a modern replica of an early 20th-century steamship.[1] The Muskoka Wharf, once a vibrant hub of economic activity at the union of a major railroad terminus and steamship port, fell into decline as roads and automobiles were introduced to the region, but has experienced a major economic resurgence since the creation of a heritage-based development area in 2005.

Driving in Gravenhurst, Ontario [Muskoka]
This is a video of driving in Gravenhurst, Ontario.
Gravenhurst is a small town in the Muskoka region of Ontario. It's south of Bracebridge and located directly on the highway that heads north into the heart of Ontario Cottage Country.
The town has a population of 12,000 but this swells up to 20,000 or more people during the warmer summer months.
Apart from driving through I've never given Gravenhurst a proper chance. The only reason I drive through is to grab some gas and something to eat before heading to the Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve.
The next time I'm in the area I plan to thoroughly explore Gravenhurst and check out all that it has to offer!
For now, enjoy this video of the highlights of driving through Gravenhurst!
As always, thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe for weekly videos!
