An Evening with Mark Dion
Artist Mark Dion will give Immerse members exclusive insight into his commission for MOCA Toronto. Trees and forests have long populated Dion’s imagination and a particular body of his production. He is well-known for artworks that question how we experience, study, display and think about the natural world.
The evening was made complete with the support of our onsite partners and reception supporters, Forno Cultura, Masi Wine, Akin Collective Studios, the Ontario Science Centre, Art Metropole, Aesop, Grape Witches and Henderson Brewing. Thank you also to our exhibition partners, the University of Toronto Faculty of Forestry and the Royal Ontario Museum who offered their support and knowledge.

HD Drone Footage - Flying Above Muskoka Wharf, Gravenhurst, Canada
The Muskoka Wharf is located in the town of Gravenhurst, Ontario on the southern edge of Muskoka Bay on Lake Muskoka. The Muskoka Wharf is the home port of the RMS Segwun, the oldest operating steamship in North America and the last surviving original steamship from the fleet of several dozen that served the county of Muskoka, Ontario in the late 19th century and early 20th century, and the Wenonah II, a modern replica of an early 20th-century steamship.[1] The Muskoka Wharf, once a vibrant hub of economic activity at the union of a major railroad terminus and steamship port, fell into decline as roads and automobiles were introduced to the region, but has experienced a major economic resurgence since the creation of a heritage-based development area in 2005.
