126. Beauty of Myoshinin Temple at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan
Beauty of Myoshinin Temple at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan. Myoshinin Temple in Sendai City is one of the most beautiful places in the city of trees. There is a lovely Japanese garden, Buddhist temple, hand carved wooden gate with wooden statues of guardians of the temple, Shrine and Buddhist cemetery. Myoshinin Temple is located in the center of Sendai City, about 10 minutes walk from Sendai Train Station. I was a little surprised of the company of birds in such places. I have nothing to birds, but in places like that there is almost no people. A little strange... See you in the next video.

Myoshinin Temple and Shrine at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan. I am in a buddhist temple Mi-yo-shi-nin in Sendai City. From this point to the center of Sendai City is a maximum 10 minutes walk. I'm closing to Buddhist Shrine guarded by two strong like a rock foxes. A little horrible. But I'm going. I love those little finishing touches of Japanese temples and some homes. They are giving the very specific nature of the buildings in which they were placed. See you in the next video.

In reality, of course it's two large wood carvings, adding specific, japanese charm to this oasis of peace. Inside the temple you will find, among other things, Buddhist Shrine, Buddhist Temple and typical Japanese garden. I was particularly enthused in beautiful wooden entrance. You can see in it the hand of experienced Japanese craftsmen. Even a glance at Tori and on the road again. See you in the next video.

127. Bike Ride on Senseki Line in Sendai City - Japan
Bike Ride on Senseki Line in Sendai City - Japan. It's center of Sendai City in Japan. I'm riding slowly on Senseki Line. I'm not in hurry to nowhere. Walkway here is extremely wide and comfortable. During last night it rained heavily and still you can see the marks on the pavement. Senseki Line is a street on the other side of Sendai Train Station and the life here goes a little more sluggishly than on other side of the railroad tracks. Probably that's why I like to ride here. I should ride by a bicycle path, but you can see more here, so... Everything here looks a bit like in slow motion movie. Or maybe just I think so...? See you in my next video.

120. Walking through Toris in Horinin Shrine at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan
Walking through Toris in Horinin Shrine at Shintera in Sendai City - Japan. I'm in the complex Horinin in Sendai City. This beautiful place caught my attention with very tall Pagoda. But here there are also other things that you probably will watch with me welcomed. Now I inviting you for a short walk through four Tori (gates) to a Buddhist Shrine. On the left you can see the Japanese cemetery. A statue depicting a mother and child. In the background mentioned by me tall Pagoda, which towers over the whole complex. I do not know what is the role of this building. In front of us there are these gates (Tori) I mentioned. We'll get through four Toris. On booth sides of our path are stylish lanterns to illuminate the path at night. I'm going slowly so as not to shake the camera. Forgive me for the rate. Each gate (Tori) is one blessing, but to me it would not apply, because at the end I do not call a special bell, do not bow and do not clap my hands. Or maybe should I? At the end, Buddhism is the only religion that I can tolerate. In front of me said earlier Shrine with a bell on a rope, which I should jerk.

Candle Light Illumination at Tourin-in (Myoshin-ji, Kyoto, Japan)
Want to know more about Kyoto?
**********************************************
This beautiful show was held in the Torin-in, which is one of the many temples you can find inside the Myoushin-ji, in Kyoto.
The illumination show went on for about a week and I got the chance to see it on the last day.
I am glad I did, because as you can see, it was a wonderful experience!
Something important about the Tourin-in is that usually it is not open to the public. Some times during the year, it is a peaceful residence where people can stay, specially to enjoy the tranquility of a Buddhist Temple and it is famous for its food too.

Japan : memorial bamboo candles - no comment
Each year, a three-day event gathers Hita City's inhabitants together around illuminations. This year, the event celebrates memories of those who died during torrential rains that hit the region last summer. Already 30 000 bamboo candles have been lit and lined up along the river.

80. Sakura and Hanami in Mikamine Park at Nishitaga, Sendai, Miyagi, Tohoku, Japan
Sakura and Hanami in Mikamine Park at Nishitaga, Sendai, Miyagi, Tohoku, Japan. Mikamine Park is a charming place and the place of meeting for Japanese and Hanami - picnics under the cherry trees. My ride on the bike is very slow. On the end, I'm not in hurry to anywhere. Time for a curiosity about Sakura. In 1912, Japan gave the United States 3,000 sakura trees to commemorate developing the friendly relations between this two countries. Since that time the cherry trees grow on the banks of the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC, and the gift was renovated in 1956 - another 3800 trees. Sakura constitute a major tourist attraction, especially in early spring, when fully flourish (they are the subject of the annual National Cherry Blossoms Festival).
