Its unique design combined with high-quality Thai silk is grabbing shop lovers heart for a long time. Despite its high quality, bags are very reasonably priced (super cheap price for western standard). Definitely, recommend making a visit to Naraya shops while you are in Bangkok.

Hi, everyone! Today We are going to shopping some bags from Naraya that is a famous brand in Thailand. Many foreigners would like to buy bags and purses from Naraya and they call these bags Bangkok bag. Naraya bags made from fabric, some of them made from satin fabric like Jim Thompson but Naraya is cheaper.
First of all, I think I have to introduce a little story about Naraya for you. So Naraya is a big brand from Thailand, they sell many kinds of bags and all of their product is handmade with different fabrics. They have many branches around Thailand where mostly in Bangkok such as Central Ladprao, Siam paragon, Central World,Don mueng airport, Baan Silom, Patpong and more. They also have few branches in Asia (Hongkong, KL-Malaysia, Ho chi min- Vietnam, Taipei-Taiwan and Phnom Penh-Cambodia).
For their products are all about bags, handy bags, Travel bags, Shopping bags, Coin bags, Wallets for men and women. Even bags, they also have Kitchenware, Mom&Kids’s products such as elephant doll, bear doll, Cute doll bags. Every product made by many fabric that you can choose at the shop, there are Cotton fabric, Satin fabric, Denim fabric and Canvas fabric. Also, they have a Holiday collection product for Chinese New year and Chrismas that you can buy them for a gift for your family and friends.
For this trip, We are going to Siam paragon and Central Ladprao. For Naraya at Siam Paragon is on the 3rd floor and it's so easy to reach Naraya Siam Paragon, you can take BTS from anywhere to Siam station. So you will see Siam Paragon, also you can take the bus (I'd put a bus's information at next section), Taxi, Grab, Uber or Tuktuk but please be carful about traffic around there. So you can take a motorcycle to there as well (and They call Win in Thai). if you would like to go to Naraya at Central Ladprao you can take MRT and drop at Phahonyothin station.
And for a second day, we’re going to a Head office of Naraya where not many tourists know there because a Head office is in Nonthaburi. At first, we think they have a warehouse and all stuff are on sale there. So we decide to go to Naraya head office and would like to show you guys. When we reached there, staffs did not allow us to film or take photos inside. I'm so sorry for that but I did not give up to find a cheaper bag from here and I had a wrong idea because the price is the same when we compare with Naraya's shop in the Department store.

Today We are going to a chic night market near Chatuchak market, That is JJ green night market where is a cool place to hang out and shopping. The old name of JJ green is Siam gypsy night market.Many local teenagers love to shopping there because after you shopping at Chatuchak market, you can walk to JJ green to shopping or hang out here. There are 100 meters from Chatuchak market. JJ green night market opens on Thursday-Sunday from 6pm-1am.
Rare vintage shops are there such as vintage clothes, shoes, accessory, cameras, home decorate even a vintage cafe & bar. JJ green has lots of Gypsy/ Bohemian fashion, street style, vintage, especially 90s fashion shops where you can update Thai trends from this night market and people there. JJ green night market is a street fashion walk area.
Hangout with Local at the cheap bar after shopping at a night market is a good idea. Especially for JJ green night market, there are lots of bars where you can buy cheap beer with good local live bands. While you are hanging out and you'd like to shop more, you can back to the market because there close very late.
Learning a few simple Thai phrase and throwing it to the shopkeepers might get you a discount on items. Every Thai in the market knows that negotiating the price is part of the fun in shopping.
