Mausoleum of Nabi Ayub, Nabi Umran & Nabi Hud in Salalah Oman

While Salalah is shrouded in mist during the Khareef season, there are plenty of hidden treasures in this land; soaked up in history and heritage. After spending few days amidst the breathtaking greenery head off to the north-west part of Salalah, atop Jabal Attin, where lies Prophet Ayoub’s (PBUH) (Job’s) Tomb. This place of religious significance draws people from all over the GCC. You can take the road to Ayn Jarziz to reach here. The serene atmosphere around attracts many to this holy shrine.

Another place worth visiting is the resting place of Prophet Umran (PBUH). Known for the long tomb, it’s considered as one of the most significant place in Salalah. A little away from main city towards Mirbat lies the tomb of Bin Ali. The twin white dome of the white monument attracts visitors for its pristine beauty. The Footprints of Prophet Saleh’s Camel is also an interesting place of visit.

The length of Hazrat Imran's (A.S) grave is approximately 30 meters long and cemetery over there gives various views on this. Prophet Umran's shrine is located located in downtown Salalah( in the Dhofar region of western Oman) inside the mosque grounds.

It's a peaceful mid-sized mosque where prayers are held every day. The grave of Nabi Umran A.S. is 41 feet long.

Salaleh has a long history and considerable effort is being made to develop this part of its history and archaeological heritage.

Some believe that Nabi Umran A.S. was a local Arab prophet, and others believe the grandfather of Nabi Umran A.S. is said to be the father of Mariam (Mary) and grandfather of Eisa (Jesus). The stone sarcophagus inside the tomb is 33 m long, which has given rise to speculation that he may also have been a giant. It certainly appears to be the longest grave in the world.

You can Also visit the Camel Spot in the same nearby area which is also very famous. The She-camel of Hazrat Syedina Saleh ( Alaihis Salaam ) where you will find footmarks of Camel on the rock, which is preserved here in salalah, Oman.

There are other Dargahs like Prophet Hazrat Syedina Ayub ( Alaihis Salaam ) on Jebel Ittin ( Jebel Ayub ) , Hazrat Bin Arabiah ( Rahmatullah Allaih ) in Raysut near Salalah Port , Sahabi-e-Rasool Sal-lal-lahu alaihi wa sallam Hazrat Taj-ud-din ( Raja Cheraman Perumal Indian King who became Sahabi ) in Al-Baleed and Hazrat Aal-e-Rasool Hazrat Bin Ali ( Qaddas Allahu sirra ul azeez ) in Mirbat which is 70 kms from salalah 40 minutes car drive.
There is also a habour of Mirbat and Arabian Sea here which have a very beautiful views.
