Chisun Inn Hotels, part of Solare Hotels & Resorts, are quality budget hotels in Japan. Although the Japanese know these hotels very well, they are still relatively unknown to the outside world. That is until now! In this HD Video Interview which took place at JATA Tourism Forum and Travel Showcase 21 September 2012 in Tokyo, Japan. Steven Howard of ASIA Travel Tips.com sits down with Solare Hotels & Resorts' President and CEO, Tony Virili. to ask him to tell us more about this brand.

The Boeing B-29 Superfortress is a four-engine propeller-driven heavy bomber designed by Boeing and flown primarily by the United States during World War II and the Korean War. Named in allusion to its predecessor, the B-17 Flying Fortress, the Superfortress was designed for high-altitude strategic bombing but also excelled in low-altitude night incendiary bombing. B-29s also dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
One of the largest aircraft of World War II, the B-29 had state-of-the-art technology, including a pressurized cabin, dual-wheeled, tricycle landing gear, and an analog computer-controlled fire-control system that allowed one gunner and a fire-control officer to direct four remote machine gun turrets. The $3 billion cost of design and production ($41,750,462,107 today) — far exceeding the $1.9 billion cost of the Manhattan Project — made the B-29 program the most expensive of the war.The B-29's advanced design allowed it to remain in service in various roles throughout the 1950s. The type was retired in the early 1960s, after 3,970 had been built.
A few were used as flying television transmitters by the Stratovision company. The Royal Air Force flew the B-29 as the Washington until 1954.
The B-29 was the progenitor of a series of Boeing-built bombers, transports, tankers, reconnaissance aircraft and trainers. The re-engined B-50 Superfortress became the first aircraft to fly around the world non-stop, during a 94-hour flight in 1949. The Boeing C-97 Stratofreighter airlifter, first flown in 1944, was followed in 1947 by its commercial airliner variant, the Boeing Model 377 Stratocruiser. This bomber-to-airliner derivation was similar to the B-17/Model 307 evolution. In 1948, Boeing introduced the KB-29 tanker, followed in 1950 by the Model 377-derivative KC-97. A line of outsized-cargo variants of the Stratocruiser is the Guppy / Mini Guppy / Super Guppy, which remain in service with NASA and other operators.
The Soviet Union produced an unlicensed reverse-engineered copy, the Tupolev Tu-4.
Dozens of B-29s remain as static displays but only two, Fifi and Doc, still fly.

The Chisun Inn Umeda is located in Osaka, right around the Tosaburi River. It is surrounded by some well known restaurants, businesses, bars, clubs and cafes. The Chisun Inn Umeda is located at 1-3-25 Edobori Nishi-Ku in Osaka, Japan. It is nearest to Higobashi Station. It is nearby the Osaka International Airport.
Rooms at the Chisun Inn Umeda are very clean but minimally furnished. This affordable hotel rents standard single or semi-double bedrooms or Japanese style single or double beds which are larger. Traditional Japanese rooms feature Tatami matting. Guests can also make use of a mini-kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Guests can expect PPV movies and television along with direct dial phones, microwaves, coffee and tea makers and refrigerators. There are also free toiletries for paying guests. Wireless Internet access is also complimentary.
Amenities at the Chisun Inn Umeda include a 24 hour front desk and laundry services. The staff speaks English and also provides room service.

Boeing B-29 Superfortress
The B-29 Superfortress is a four-engine propeller-driven heavy bomber designed by Boeing that was flown primarily by the United States toward the end of World War II and during the Korean War. It was one of the largest aircraft to have seen service during World War II and a very advanced bomber for its time, with features such as a pressurized cabin, an electronic fire-control system, and remote-controlled machine-gun turrets. The name Superfortress was derived from that of its well-known predecessor, the B-17 Flying Fortress. Although designed as a high-altitude strategic bomber, and initially used in this role against the Empire of Japan, these attacks proved to be disappointing; as a result the B-29 became the primary aircraft used in the American firebombing campaign, and was used extensively in low-altitude night-time incendiary bombing missions. One of the B-29's final roles during World War II was carrying out the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Unlike many other World War II-era bombers, the B-29 remained in service long after the war ended, with a few even being employed as flying television transmitters for the Stratovision company. The B-29 served in various roles throughout the 1950s. The Royal Air Force flew the B-29 and used the name Washington for the type, replacing them in 1953 with the Canberra jet bomber, and the Soviet Union produced an unlicensed reverse-engineered copy as the Tupolev Tu-4. Chisun Inn Nagoya Sakae
The Chisun Inn Nagoya Sakae is located in the central downtown area of Nagoya, Sakae. This spot provides easy access to tourist attractions, businesses, and shopping centers. It is nearby in proximity to Chuba Electric Power and the Higashiyama subway line. The Chisun Inn Nagoya Sakae is located at a physical address of 3-2 Shinsakaemachi Nakaku in Nagoya, Japan.
The Chisun Inn Nagoya Sakae is a ten story building and it offers 150 rooms for rent. It can hold a total of 174 guests. Guests can look forward to direct dial international phones as well as private bathrooms. There are also bathroom comforts provided like razors, toothbrushes, shampoo and a hairdryer.

Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art, Hosokawa Gyobu-tei and Kumamoto Castle are within easy driving distance of the Chisun Inn Kumamoto Miyukihueda. Kumamoto City Museum, Kumamoto City Zoological and Botanical Gardens and Former Residence of Natsume Soseki can be reached with a 20 minute drive. Kumamoto Airport (KMJ) is a 50 minute drive from the hotel. The Sakuranobaba Johsaien and Suizen-ji Park are a 20 minute car trip away.
