＜ビューティフルジャパン 長崎 陸上篇＞
陸上選手（T54）の副島正純さんが後輩たちと練習する長崎県諫早市のトレーニングコースへ綾瀬はるかさんがやってきました。後輩の百武強士さん、城間圭亮さんも一緒にコースに出て、肌寒く強風も吹きすさぶ中、綾瀬さんも競技用車いすでのランに挑戦。追い風のときはビューンと気持ちよく走れたものの、折り返して向かい風になるとなかなかきつそうです。それでも「綾瀬さん速い」と副島さんから褒められました。続いて、副島さんが3Dプリンターで競技用のグローブを作る事務所兼トレーニングルームにもお邪魔して、副島さんと百武さん、城間さん、後輩の子供たちにお話を聞きました。“優しくてカッコいい”副島さんは、みんなの憧れです。「好きなことに一生懸命であれば、世界を変えることができる。スポーツだけでなく、全てに通じる力強い言葉でした。5度目のパラリンピック出場を目指して、頑張ってください！」

Haruka Ayase came to the Isahaya City Training Course in Nagasaki Prefecture where the track and field athlete (T54) Masazumi Soejima was training with younger racers. Ms. Ayase tried a racing wheelchair run on the course with him and Tsuyoshi Hyakutake and Kesuke Shiroma. With a tailwind she could speed along feeling great, but it was hard going into a headwind. Even so, Mr. Soejima complemented her saying “you’re really tough.
Then, they all went to the training room equipped with a 3D printer for making competition gloves where she talked with him, Tsuyoshi Hyakutake, Kesuke Shiroma and some younger kids. Kind and cool Mr. Soejima is the role model for everyone. “The words ‘Doing your best at what you love to do can change the world’ are powerful for everything not only in sports. You’re aiming for your 5th Paralympics and I really hope you make it!

2013年11月30日撮影。JR長崎駅に到着した、2013年10月15日運行開始したJR九州のクルーズトレイン「ななつ星in 九州」の機回しであります。
客車牽引機関車 DF200形7000番台は、長崎本線側線で客車との連結解除後、駅構内側の車両基地側線に入り待機のままです。客車がDE10形1000番台ディーゼル機関車に牽引されて、長崎駅4番ホームに入線します。(機回し④へつづく)
DF200形7000番台ディーゼル機関車が、車体は817系電車,台車は787系電車を基調として製造された77系客車を牽引。
7両の客車は、寝台車5両にダイニングカー(食堂車)とラウンジカーで構成されてます。
長崎駅でこの機関車の機回しにより約1時間20分停車後、長崎本線 非電化路線の長与経由で諫早駅へ向かいます。このときの運行は、1泊2日の日程で北部九州各地を廻ります。

陸上選手（T54）の副島正純さんは、アテネ2004、北京2008、ロンドン2012、リオ2016と4度のパラリンピックに車いすマラソンの日本代表選手として出場したベテランランナーです。23歳の時に事故で怪我をして体が不自由になったときはスポーツができるなんて思いもしなかったという副島さん、リハビリの一環でやってみた車いすバスケットがきっかけでスポーツに目覚め、車いすマラソンの世界へ。走ることが大好き。大好きなことに一生懸命打ち込むことには、周囲を変えるパワーがある。同じように障害がある子供たちが、自分と一緒に走ることを楽しんで、最終的に人生を楽しむきっかけになってくれたらいい。

The veteran track and field athlete (T54) Masazumi Soejima has already competed at 4 Paralympics (Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016) representing Japan in the wheelchair marathon.
He was injured in an accident when he was 23 and never imagined he’d be able to play sports again. His thinking changed when he played wheelchair basketball for rehabilitation, so he started doing wheelchair marathons. He really loves to race. “Doing your best at what you really love to do has the power to change your surroundings. Likewise, kids with handicaps have fun racing with me, and it’s great if it can be a key for them to enjoy life.”

Nagasaki (長崎市, Nagasaki-shi, Japanese: [naɡaꜜsaki]) (listen ) is the capital and the largest city of Nagasaki Prefecture on the island of Kyushu in Japan. The city's name, 長崎, means long cape in Japanese. Nagasaki became a centre of colonial Portuguese and Dutch influence in the 16th through 19th centuries, and the Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region have been recognized and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Part of Nagasaki was home to a major Imperial Japanese Navy base during the First Sino-Japanese War and Russo-Japanese War.
During World War II, the American atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki made Nagasaki the second and, to date, last city in the world to experience a nuclear attack (at 11:02 a.m., August 9, 1945 'Japan Standard Time (UTC+9)').As of 1 March 2017, the city has an estimated population of 425,723 and a population density of 1,000 people per km2. The total area is 406.35 km2 (156.89 sq mi).
