NAGOYA! Japan | Worlds Biggest Planetarium | Science Centre | Nagoya Castle
Nagoya is currently home to the biggest Planetarium on Earth. As Erin has a background in Astronomy, and Francis is a science nerd, it was always high on our list to visit this city. We planned 2 days in Nagoya during our time in Japan, arriving by Shinkansesn (bullet train) and mapped out a visit to the Nagoya Planetarium and Science Centre, as well as the Nagoya Castle. But what we learnt was that not everything goes to plan during long term travel...

All of the music you hear in our videos we have written and produced ourselves and is taken from our published album titled ‘In Harmony’. We originally wrote ‘In Harmony’ for our wedding, to musically describe the beauty of the natural world and harmony within, written through ambient soundscapes that evolve through space and time.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
Hi, we are Erin and Francis, aka the Honeymooners! We love travel, animals, nature, space, music, coffee and good food….
...ABOUT US...
In 2016 we travelled extensively throughout South East Asia, and trekked all over the Himalayas of Nepal. We documented the entire trip on our Go Pro for our family and friends, but decided to post it all onto Youtube just for a bit of fun as well.
We are newlyweds, happily married since June 2019, and are now living out our dream goal we have had since our last overseas trip, of travelling the world for an entire year on our honeymoon. We have worked so hard towards this goal and want to document the entire journey with you all, so you can join us as we leave our footprints all over this beautiful world.
The world we live in is so diverse and rich with culture, yet the more we travel and the more people we meet along the way, we realise that people share so many similarities no matter what their background is.

Nagoya City Science Museum
The Nagoya City Science Museum (名古屋市科学館, Nagoya-shi Kagakukan) features a characteristic giant silver globe, which houses one of the world's largest planetariums. Programs at the planetarium vary monthly and cover current astronomical phenomena. Although shows are conducted only in Japanese, they can nevertheless be interesting just by looking at the stars and other elements of nature being projected on the huge spherical screen.

The symbol of Nagoya City Science Museum is a characteristic giant silver globe, which contains one of the world's largest planetariums. Programs at the planetarium vary each month and present current astronomical phenomena. Although shows are held only in Japanese, they can still be interesting just by looking at the stars and other elements of nature being projected on the large spherical screen.
Five floors of the seven-storied museum are occupied by a comprehensive array of permanent exhibits, while temporary exhibitions are held in the basement on a periodic basis. The permanent exhibits provide abundant opportunities such that visitors of all ages can give it a try at learning science through interactive experiments. They include multiple large displays such as the Electric Discharge Lab, the Tornado Lab and the Deep Freezing Lab, which simulates conditions at the earth's polar areas.

Nagoya City Tour: Day 3 - Toyota Automobile Museum
Welcome to Day 3!
The day we visited the awesome Toyota Automobile Museum. The museum is one of the most popular museum in Nagoya. There were also other brands in there and I saw a few cars from the movies such as DeLorean from Back to the Future and a James Bond car.
Not to forget, Chise-chan also speaks malay in the video and the very end. We taught each other about our mother's tongue language. I was very happy since our bond gets closer day by day.
I'm sorry this video is uploaded a little late and the time I uploaded this really got off the pace since I had food poisoning and had a few events going on this week.
Enjoy the video and let me know what you think about it in the comments section below.
