Nagoya, capital of Japan’s Aichi Prefecture, is a manufacturing and shipping hub in central Honshu. The city’s Naka ward is home to museums and pachinko (gambling machine) parlors. Naka also includes the Sakae entertainment district, with attractions like the Sky-Boat Ferris wheel, which is attached to a mall. In northern Naka is Nagoya Castle, a partly reconstructed 1612 royal home displaying Edo-era artifacts.

JR Nagoya Station (JR名古屋駅） is the main train station for the bustling, vibrant Nagoya City （名古屋市）. Nagoya city is known for it's business centers and is a very eclectic and international city like Kobe. It is also one of the major stops on the Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen line between Osaka and Tokyo.
The two tall office towers are the main landmarks of this station. This station also has one of the largest shopping centers of all the JR Stations in Japan.
