To Nairn Falls Provincial Park in Pemberton, B.C.
20 minutes north of Whistler, just before Pemberton, is Nairn Falls Provincial Park. The 3km roundtrip hike to Nairn Falls is quick and relatively easy along a scenic trail with a great view at the end.

Coordonnées GPS: 50°17'48.2N 122°49'11.8W
Le parc provincial de la cascade Nairn est situé le long de l'autoroute 99 (Sea-to-Sky) à 4 kilomètres de la ville de Pemberton.
Un sentier d'une longueur de 1,5 km, situé dans un secteur boisé, longe la rivière Verte (Green River), elle porte bien son nom, et nous amène vers une plate-forme d'où il est possible d'observer la cascade d'une hauteur de 60 m.
Elle n'est pas très haute, mais son débit est vraiment impressionnant. L'eau s'écoule avec grand fracas dans un canyon.
En longeant le grillage vers la gauche, on accède à un passage qui nous amène vers un autre point de vue qui nous permet d'observer les chutes inférieures qui s'engouffrent dans le canyon.
Il y a un terrain de camping sur ce site. Nous nous y sommes rendus et avons pris un court sentier qui nous amène sur une plage en bordure de la rivière Verte (Green River).
La couleur de l'eau de cette rivière est tout simplement éblouissante.

Nairn Falls Provincial Park is a provincial parkin British Columbia, Canada located on theGreen River adjacent to British Columbia Highway 99 and the Canadian National Railway line just south of Pemberton and less than twenty minutes north of the resort town of Whistler. The 170 hectare park was established in 1966, shortly after the highway's opening, to protect and enhance visitor access to Nairn Falls, a doublewaterfall connected by a small canyon which throttles the flow of the Green River just before its accession to the lowlands of thePemberton Valley and its confluence with theLillooet River just above that river's estuary into Lillooet Lake.

Nairn Falls is an easy hike leading to an impressive waterfall in Nairn Falls Provincial Park, located in Pemberton.
The trail is easy enough that it’s a great family hiking option. The trail leads 1.5 km to two viewing platforms overlooking the upper and lower falls.
A hike to Nairn Falls is the perfect outing if you’re camping in the park or passing between Whistler and Pemberton. The hike is easy to access and short enough it can be done without a ton of planning or time.

Driving Highway 99 to Nairn Falls Provincial Park - Whistler - British Columbia - Canada
En route - Autoroute 99 vers le parc provincial de la cascade Nairn - Whistler - Colombie-Britannique - Canada
Toujours sur l'autoroute 99 (Sea-to-Sky Highway) en direction nord pour nous rendre cette fois-ci au parc provincial de la cascade Nairn.
Le trajet est tout aussi éblouissant puisque nous avons non seulement de superbes vues des montagnes aux pics enneigés mais également du Lac Vert (Green Lake).
Nous avons d'ailleurs fait un arrêt au belvédère de ce lac. Il porte bien son nom. Il est d'un vert vraiment éclatant. Il est entouré d'une magnifique chaîne de montagnes.
On ne peut se lasser de regarder un tel paysage. Nous aurions aimer passer la journée à cet endroit tellement le paysage nous rendait complètement zen.

Campfire at Nairn Falls provincial park
Nairn Falls Provincial Hike
Nairn Falls is two tiered waterfall located 2 minutes north of Pemberton, B.C. The falls can be seen from a deluxe viewing platform safely above the Upper Falls.
Hiking to the falls takes about 15 - 18 minutes each way. We recommend planning for an hour in total.
