Nakshatra Van is a park created by the Jharkhand Forest Department in front of the residence of the governor of Jharkhand in Ranchi, the capital of the Indian state of Jharkhand.
A Nakshatra (Devanagari: नक्षत्र) or lunar mansion is one of the 27 or 28 divisions of the sky that the Moon passes through during its monthly cycle, as used in Hindu astronomyand Hindu astrology. Each Nakshatra is identified by its prominent star(s) and is associated with a Zodiac. Hindu astrologers believe that each constellation of the zodiac is associated with a tree. Those trees are of medicinal, social, aesthetic or economic value.

Nakshatra Van is a park located in front of the Jharkhand Raj Bhawan and is established by Jharkhand Forest Department. Few special attractions of the park are: Children Park,Central Musical Fountain,Zodiac Trees planted in a circle,Flower Garden,Medicinal Plants Library,Medicinal plants Garden,Artificial Water Fall and Bridge,Boating in Nakshatra Van water tank,Sleeping statue of Dhanvantri etc.
The trees in the Nakshatra Van of Ranchi are planted in a particular manner, which has bestowed a unique feature to the garden. There is a big circle in the center of the park. Trees are planted in straight lines in different segments of the circle. Each sector resembles a specific zodiac sign.This is a place for simple evening enjoyment in the ranchi city itself. The place is relaxing with many food options
