Worst Time to Visit Japan OBON, Showing How Crowded It is in Dotonbori, Namba, Osaka! #186
Obon is a traditional Japanese event to welcome the sprits of ancestors, and usually people get a few days of vacation during the Obon period.
Therefore, the town gets super crowded, so Obon (August 13th to August 16th week) is one of the worst time to visit Japan. It's like the Goldenweek (Early May)
Compare to Goldenweek, Obon is in summer, so super hot and humid but there are long lines everywhere.
In this video I tried to show you how crowded it is, and also how it looks like in Dotonbori food street, and Hozenji Yokocho in Namba, Osaka????
Of course if you like crowd, you can choose those days to travel Japan, but I recommend to choose other days though.

There are many fast food hamburger restaurants in Japan, however, it is really hard to find good burger restaurants.
Kua Aina is a bit expensive compare to other restaurants, however the taste is so good. Their BBQ flavor meat with Avocado is one of the best burger for sure.
It is the chain restaurants, so you can find the restaurants in Tokyo as well????!

In this video I introduced Good and Cheap Local Japanese restaurant Ganko in Osaka, Japan! Also I showed the way to go to the restaurant from Nankai Namba station that most of the traveler will arrive from Kansai Internation Airport!
The food I tried,

Thinking about other good and cheap restaurant, it sounds a bit expensive, but I always think about the price for the quality, and this restaurant I consider it Good and Cheap!

Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) is really popular snack in Japan!
If you go to Izakaya (Japanese style Bar restaurant), for sure, you can find Karaage in the menu!
In this video, I introduce popular Karaage stall Kin no Torikara (金のとりから) near Dotonbori, Namba, Osaka!
They sell Karaage stick which is really easy to eat!!
Also, there are so many sauces in front of the store which you can try for free!
I have tried, Original spice, Yuzu pepper sauce, Lemon sauce, Chocolate sauce, Yuzu Ponzu, Hot Chili sauce, Mayonnaise, and Garlic Butter Sauce in the video!! (There are still many sauces)
My best is Yuzu pepper (Yuzu Kosho) sauce with Karaage!!
(You must try Yuzu pepper) in your Japan trip at least once!
it's so good!!)
The worst one was Chocolate sauce with Karaage!!
It's really fund to try many different kind of taste in the store!
If you get the single size Karaage, it's only 260 JPY (2.6 USD),
So in your Osaka trip, if you want to have little snack near Dotonbori, Namba, Osaka, try this Kin no Torikara, for sure you will like it!!

Osaka local fish market special Crab Ramen !! Welcome to Magruro Park!! #167
In this video I introduced Osaka Local fish market Maguro Park：マグロパーク in south part of Osaka.
Since this place is hard to visit, they prepare the local special deals all the time!! And this time, they had Crab Ramen for limited special. It was only 390 JPY [3.9 USD] and taste so good!
Crab with seaweed ramen was so tasty, also their Ramen soup was so good. Seafood Dashi was perfectly matches with Ramen noodle!!
Not only Ramen, they have Pork cutlet curry Katsu curry and Deep friend Shrimp curry for 390 JPY [3.9 USD] as well! (Weekday sale)
Also they have cheap Kaisen Don Sashimi Rice Bowl, and Lunch special Teishoku, sushi.
Speaking of Maguro park, there are big fish market + super market, therefore, you can buy fresh Sashimi!

13th Oct, 2019 [the day after the typhoon Hagibis]. It was a historical day for Japanese rugby fans! Japan beats Scotland and got 1st place in pool A. As you can imagine, many Japanese people got excited.
In this video, I went to Public viewing in Tennoji area first for watching games, and after that walk to Shinsekai, Dendentown, and Dotonbori to find excited people!

We started our adventure checking into our first Traditional Japanese-style Tatami hotel, complete with a floor pad, robes and slippers, then stepped out into Osaka’s craziest, most famous nightlife district—Dotonbori. The part of the people cheering for is the event that Spain vs Japan at the soccer match at Dotonbori. It was so crowded and many people wearing the red and white outfit.
Well , me and my siblings went to Universal Studios by ourselves , we went there without parents guidance because Japan was safe and easy to went there too.

Transportation in Osaka, Japan:
Now a quick note on transportation in Osaka (大阪市). When it comes to getting around the city, subways and trains are your best bet.
We spent our first few days buying one-way tickets and day passes, which in retrospect was a bit of a headache. The easiest thing to do is to get a prepaid card where you can load money as needed.
Osaka’s version of this card is called Icoca, but you can also use Pasmo and Suica in the city.
