Driving over 3500 km through one of the most remote countries in the world. We saw the landscape change color from white, to yellow, orange, red, green, brown and black. We were mesmerized by never-ending emptiness, embraced by sand dunes all around and feeling on top of the world on the edge of one of the biggest canyons in the world. We got to see lots of free roaming wild life. Especially our encounter with a herd of desert elephants and with a white rhino took our breath away. Although Namibia is one of the least densely populated countries we did manage to meet some very friendly and helpful local people, both white minority as ethnic Himba tribes. Turning head over (w)heels was not meant to happen but did not keep us from continuing this road trip.
