???? Here's a mini feature of the Naminoue Shrine in Naha, Okinawa, located on a small cliff, overlooking the ocean and Naminoue Beach.
It was founded in 1890, and due to its seaside location, the shrine came to be associated with protection of the trading ships coming from mainland Japan, Korea & China.
This video, is a perfect example why I made my new channel - for the little extras. As I didn't plan making this video, and I was almost out of space on my (spare) SD card, which is why it's a little short. But I still thought it would be a shame not to do a video of this nice little place. I hope you'll like it. - Enjoy!
NAMINOUE GU-memory of OKINAWA
You can try Japanese style and Okinawa style of KIMONO. It takes only 10min. to wear those kimonos. Also takes only ¥3,000 for 30min. which is enough time for go up to NAMINOUW-shurin.

Naminoue beach is pretty close to the main city of Naha, so we walked around it on our last day in Okinawa. The water is beautiful and clear, and the shrine (although super busy) is really pretty too. Also cats!

Welcome back – or as the Okinawans would say, mensoure! Here's my video about my recent trip to Naha, Okinawa! It's the biggest city in Okinawa, which is a beautiful tropical island in Japan. They call it the Hawaii of Japan, and I can see why!
I was in Okinawa with one of my best friends, Claire, and we spent two days exploring this amazing place. We ate a lot, walked around and took in all the sights. It was truly magical, and one of my favorite destinations. The people in Okinawa are just so friendly and willing to help anyone!

Set underneath the highway running through Naha city Naminoue beach isn’t the picturesque beach that most people think about when someone mentions Okinawa. But the water is clean and the sand is hot so if you are looking for a quick dip in the ocean or the feel of sand between your toes when grilling on the BBQ then it doesn’t get much more convenient in Naha city than Naminoue beach.
Just 15 minutes from Naha Airport or a quick walk form Kokusai Street. Naminoue beach is a popular place with local families and youth to go for some recreation and relaxation without leaving the city. After taking a swim and drying off you could stop by and visit the near by Naminoue Shrine that sits on a hill over looking Naminoue beach. Also close by are some fast food restaurants and a few small shops where you can pick up some sun screen incase you forgot it.

【那覇 波上宮】から波の上ビーチまでをぶらり Naha Naminoue
那覇市の波上宮を参拝し御朱印帳をゲット。裏にある波の上ビーチまでぶらりとしてみました。
海外から来た方が多いのにはビックリ！！

波の上ビーチ（なみのうえビーチ）は、沖縄県那覇市にある唯一のビーチです。国際通りから歩いて15分と市街地にあるので、観光客の方も気軽に足を運ぶ事ができます。
砂浜は波上宮が鎮座する巨岩を境に辻側と若狭側に分かれています。撮影も辻側からと若狭側から撮影しています。今回の撮影は天気が悪く魅力を伝えきれていませんが、那覇市内のビーチにもかかわらずとても綺麗でした。

波上宮又被當地居民稱為Nanminsan,從以前即被沖繩眾人所知的神社之一.建於琉球王國時代,但年份不詳,是為了向海上的眾神所祈求平安幸福所建.戰爭時幾乎被破壞得只剩下鳥居,於昭和28年重新建造本殿及社務所,於昭和36年再建拜殿,於平成5年神社已復興完成.緊鄰於波上宮旁的是波之上海灘,從海灘上可欣賞到鎮座於懸崖上神社的坡上宮.
