Nandan Pahar is an amusement park built on top of a hill in the district of Deoghar in Jharkhand, India. It is famous as a picnic spot with several activities for one and all. One can have fun on one of the joy rides or go boating in the region or offer their prayers at the Nandi Temple. The park has frequent visitors from nearby localities from almost all age groups because there is something for everyone here. Sunrises are a treat to the eyes as the rising sun sets its rays towards the earth to illuminate every corner of Nandan Pahar. Sunsets are mesmerising too as the sun gently fades away letting the starlit skies take over.
Nandan Pahar consists of a garden, a pond, and serves as an amusement or recreational park with several joy rides that one can enjoy amidst the lush green garden. The theme houses at the park must be visited too. This is where your child like fantasies will be re-kindled, and this is where you will feel youthful once again. The Nandi temple, which is situated on the top of Nandan Pahar, is very famous in the locality. Nandan Pahar is managed and promoted by the Jharkhand State Tourism Development Corporation. If you are visiting Deoghar this year, a visit to Nandan Pahar is a must.

Nandan Pahar is famous for Hill Entertainment Park in Deoghar with paddle boating facilties.It is located 3km from Baidyanath Dham Railway Station. You can take an Auto or Taxi from Tower Chowk or Deoghar Railway Station.It is also famous for a big Nandi Temple.you have to climb 108 steps to reach the top.
Going by the myths, once Ravana tried to enter Shivadham forcibly when Nandi was the doorkeeper of Lord Shiva. Nandi stopped him from entering the premises of Lord Shiva. Ravana got furious and threw him down at this site and hence, the hill is known by his name.
It is a beautiful Hill Park and one of the major hangout places in Deoghar. This place also supplies Drinking Water to a large section of Deoghar Population.
It also has a ghost house, a boot house, a mirror house and a restaurant. Tourists can also see beautiful views of the district, sunrise and sunset from this site.

Trikut Pahar (Trikut Hills, is situated 10 km away from Deoghar on the way to Dumka in Jharkhand state, India. There are three main peaks on the hill (the tri- of Trikutachal). There is also a temple of Shiva at this place known as Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple.The height of this hill is 2470 feet. A rope way is most famous here it can be used to reach the top of the hill. The hill is covered by clouds in rainy seasons and waterfalls and small streams can be seen from July–September. Tourists can also see beautiful views of the district, sunrise and sunset from this site. The Park is maintained by JSTDC and is known as Nandan Hill Entertainment Park.
According to beliefs, once King Ravana tried to enter Shivadham forcibly. Nandi was the door keeper at that time. Nandi obstructed him. Ravana became angry and threw him who fell here and in this way this hill became to known by this name.
It is located 3km from Baidyanath Dham Railway Station. You can book an Auto or Taxi from Tower Chowk or Deoghar Railway Station.
Nandan Pahar is located at a walking distance from the new Deoghar Town Railway Station. This has direct train connectivity to Jasidih, Dumka and Rampurhat.

# Khandoli Dam is a famous water adventure center as well as picnic spot which is located at 8 Km from Giridih in Jharkhand, India. At the foot of Khandoli Hill there is the Khandoli water reservoir with an area of 900m X 6000m and a depth of 21m which offers various water adventures like kayaking, speed boating, swimming & rescue etc.

Tapovan | Tapovan Hills | Deoghar | Tapovan - Where Religion Meets Adventure | Adventurous Journey
Tapovan is another holy site located at a distance of around 10 km from Babadham(Deoghar). It is mainly famous for Tapo Nath Mahadev, the temple of Lord Shiva. this place has a temple of Shiva called Taponath Mahadeva and a number of caves are also present there. In one of the caves, there is a Shiva lingam installed and it is said that Sage Valmiki who wrote Ramayana, came here for penance.Sri Sri Mohanananda Brahmachari, one of the disciples of Sri Sri Balananda Brahmachari, also came at the site for penance.It is named Tapovan because in the olden days it was a meditation spot for the Nagas.
The real attraction of this place is to take the tougher route and face the rocky way down. There are steps to reach the hill top. I loved the place more for the adventurous descent down the rocky hill.
