额,最终还是去了胡同。没有想象中那么糟嘛。虽然商业化有些严重,但是确实是很有特色哦!

NanLuoGuXiang Hutong Beijing China
Nanluoguxiang (Chinese: 南锣鼓巷; pinyin: nánluógǔxiàng) is a narrow alley, that gives its name to an old part of the Beijing city centre, that has traditional architecture both new and old. The neighborhood contains many typical narrow streets known as hutong. It is located in the Dongcheng district.
The alley itself is approximately 800m long, running from East Gulou Street in the north to Di'anmen East Street in the south.
From our hotel (Renaissance Beijing Capital), we took a taxi to the NanLuoGuXiang Hutong. As the roads were pretty jammed, it took us almost an hour to get here, even though the absolute distance was probably around 10km.
We were in Beijing China, on a couple trip. Here are my blog posts.

Nanluoguxiang is an alley located in the intersection area on the east side of the central axis of Beijing. It starts from Gulou East Avenue in the north and Ping'an Avenue in the south. It is 8 meters wide and 787 meters long. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Beijing and has a history of more than 740 years. It is also among the 25 old city reserves planned. Because its terrain is high in the middle and low in the north and the south, like a humpbacked person, it is named Luoguxiang. In the Qing Dynasty, the Complete Map of Beijing drawn in the fifteenth year of Qianlong (1750) was renamed Nanluoguxiang.
It is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Beijing. It is the only checkerboard-style traditional residential area with the largest scale, highest grade and richest resources in the Yuan Dynasty. The various mansions and houses in the surrounding alleys are colorful and profound. Nanluoguxiang and the surrounding area used to be the city center of Yuandadu, and it was a place of wealth and wealth in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The streets and lanes here were packed with dignitaries, and the palaces of countless palaces were countless until the end of the Qing Dynasty. The prosperity of Nanluoguxiang also slowly followed.
It has been completely transformed into a pedestrian street, and vehicles are impassable.
Nanluoguxiang Hutong in Beijing, China
Don't ask me how to pronounce Nanluoguxiang...I can't. But this is one of the best preserved Hutong areas in Downtown Beijing. Filled with bars, restaurants and small boutiques, you can walk the streets all day, stopping to read the information on old historical sights.
Stars like Zhang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) studied here. The hutong has been renovated (all to the good) and the best bits preserved.
