【4K】Narita taiko festival 2019

Decided to write a description while sitting at the bench in the middle of Aokigahara forest waiting for a night. Video looks like got 4K, but I can check it only on my phone. And so...
Every mid of April in Narita city where Tokyo international airport is located you can see All Japan Drum festival, but it looks like International as there are people from other countries too. This time I was too lazy to get up at 8am to get to Pray for Peace, so I just walk along the main street to Narita-san, the main temple and feature of Narita city. Stopped once at every stage (except some Okinawa team whose performance was mostly prerecorded). I tried binaural mic for drums, it's very sensitive, I hope it did not overload too much.

【4K】Walking at Narita Taiko 2018 drum festival

After Pray for peace video I went back to the station and started the walk. I passed back to Naritasan temple filming a bit of every drum team I met. Then I passed beyond the temple to its park with some remains of blooming sakura, fountain and pond with kois.
At the festival you can see many teams from all over Japan and beyond. Many teams are amateur including from schools and universities, but there are some professional teams. Area near Naritasan is interesting itself, you may find it's good for walking even without festival.

Went to an amazing drum festival in Japan! There were drums from all over the world including the STEEL PAN of Trinidad and Tobago.
*Side note* ('N.N' stands for 'Nihon Note'. 'Nihon' means Japan in Japanese. I will be using this annotation to share cultural facts about Japan so look out for 'N.N' in upcoming videos.)

Main event starts at 37:35, before that each groups perform introduction.
Narita Taiko(drum) festival is held every April. For two weekend days tens of drum teams all over Japan and some from outside come to Narita. At 10am in front of Naritasan temple they pray together for peace in the World. Tried to film this even multiple time but only now could do it more or less properly without video or audio issues.
