The Natural History of Carolina, Florida and the Bahama Islands: Catesby
The rare first edition of the first book with coloured plates to include American birds.
Bird books were popular in eighteenth century England, both as works of scholarship and as splendid collectables for the libraries of wealthy connoisseurs. The naturalist Mark Catesby (1683-1749) born in Essex, produced one of the most lavish of these with this magnificent work, the result of a series of voyages to North America.

JAFFA PORT, ONE OF THE MOST ANCIENT PORTS IN THE WORLD - Caregiver in Israel
One fine Saturday and the weather's inviting us to go outside and explore its beauty. So, for this video, we're invading Jaffa Port a.k.a. Namal Yafo (נמל יפו) which is considered as one of the most ancient ports in the world.
We started our journey at the port itself wherein one can find lots of restaurants to choose from. Nearby, there's a gallery with different paintings and even vintage items. Moving ahead, we found a live performance and their singing in Spanish Espera um Poco I don't know if that's the title of the song but I really enjoyed it! I even sing with them ????. We then passed by a bazaar with some vintage stuffs in preferably low price. Walking along the boulevard, I was fascinated by those buildings just like in Jerusalem and even overwhelmed by the view of the beach. We end our trip in the Flea Market and ate in a Lebanese Restaurant although I'm expecting of some Lebanese authentic cuisine but in the end, we found ourselves eating hummus. One of Israel's comfort food. It was good though.

Mayday Over the Arctic - Part 1
Dorothy Nelson, known to many as “the flying nurse,” received her BA degree from La Sierra College in 1951. She went on to receive Master’s Degrees in Public Health (Loma Linda University) and Music (Claremont University). Dorothy is also a registered nurse and pilot with commercial, instrument, multi-engine land and sea, and flight instructor ratings. She served as pilot of a Piper Aztec and a Beech Twin Bonanza, mission planes operated under Medical Aviation Programs, Inc. of the Philippines. In 1975 Dorothy flew across the Pacific bringing a Piper Aztec for use in medical mission service. In recognition of her dedication to the needy peoples of the Philippines, the commanding general of the Philippine Air Force met her flight and provided her with free fuel and security for all of her flights in the Philippines. General Rancudo also requested Dorothy to fly to Cagayan de Sulu (Tawi-Tawi) where there was serious need for medical help. Forty-four years later Dorothy returned to Tawi-Tawi where she spoke for the 43rd International Founder’s Day of Tawi-Tawi Academy.
Dorothy has served as both a pilot, working in remote islands, and as a health educator presenting in the US and abroad. Dorothy instructed in the Twin Bonanza and flew medical flights for physicians from Loma Linda University Medical Center. She developed the Health Expo model of health education, now used globally, that illustrates the effective use as the “right arm of the gospel” in medical evangelism. Dorothy received the Alumna of the Year Award from Loma Linda University Health in 2017.
Dorothy considers everyday a gift from God and loves to share the Good News of his Second Coming! Her focus now in life is her grandchildren. She has enjoyed homeschooling and teaching music to three of her grandchildren. Dorothy developed a series of 10 books, the Little Ellen Library, as well as other educational materials for young children. Currently, she is writing a book about her family’s ministry in China and the history of her work in health expo evangelism. Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau /ˈnæsɔː/ is the capital, largest city, and commercial centre of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. The city has a population of 248,948 (2010 census), 70 percent of the entire population of the Bahamas (353,658). Lynden Pindling International Airport, the major airport for the Bahamas, is located about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) west of Nassau city centre, and has daily flights to major cities in the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The city is located on the island of New Providence, which functions much like a business district. Nassau is the site of the House of Assembly and various judicial departments and was considered historically to be a stronghold of pirates.
Nassau's modern growth began in the late eighteenth century, with the influx of thousands of American Loyalists and their slaves to the Bahamas following the American Revolutionary War. Many of them settled in Nassau (then and still the commerce capital of the Bahamas) and eventually came to outnumber the original inhabitants.
