⌚ - Much better pumunta ng weekdays para bukas yung ibang building. Siguraduhin din maglaan ng isang buong araw kung pupunta kayo dito via Bus dahil sa mahabang byahe unless train kayo or rented car.
???? Kung fan ka talaga ng Meteor Garden at pangarap mo tong mapuntahan huwag mo na isipin ang gastos. This experience is priceless. Promise! ❤
????- Open University ang Chung Cheng kaya no worries sa mga susuotin just wear a comfortable attire kasi malawak ang iikotin niyo.
????- May family mart sa loob ng university (activity center) kaya hindi kayo magugutom doon ????

Mas malapit kapag sa minxiong kayo bababa . Exit kayo left corner ng station at makikita niyo ang sakayan ng bus #106 going to National Chung Cheng University (Ying De). (15NTD fare - cash or easy card payment)

Vlog #1: A TOUR TO METEOR GARDEN FILMING LOCATION
My tour in Taiwan last May 26, 2018 will never be complete without visiting the filming location of Meteor Garden in Chiayi, a.k.a YingDe Academy.
There are two universities that was used in Meteor Garden, one is the National Taiwan University located in Taipei and the other is National Chung Cheng University in Chiaiyi. But National Chung Cheng University was the main school in Meteor Garden and almost all of the scenes was shot here.
It feels surreal! It was my childhood dream to go to Taiwan! And with God's perfect time, I get to hold the iconic locker #150 and be a Shancai for a day where MOST of the shooting locations of Meteor Garden takes place.
Chiayi is situated on the Southern part of Taiwan. It is 167 miles from Taipei, 12 hours travel time back and forth. (depending on the mode of transportation) Also, fare is a bit expensive. BUT it was all worth it once you get there! My 14 years old fan heart was relived and very much alive all throughout the tour!
How to get there? (from Taipei)
You have two options:
1.HSR or the bullet train
Take the HSR from Taipei Main station, with route to Chiayi (approx. 2hours travel time) fare is Php 2,000 one-way and then take bus #1 from Chiayi fare is Php 30-48.00 (approx. 55mins travel time)
2. You can take the local train
From Taipei Main station, look for train with route to Douliu, fare is Php 1,000 one-way, then transfer train to Minxiong station. From Minxiong, take a bus to national Chung Cheng University. Approx. travel time is 5-6 hours.
National Chung Cheng University allowed outsiders, so you don't have to worry. As long as you comply with their university rules and regulations. (I hope you get what I mean.) Inside the University, they have family Mart and some food kiosk where you can have your snacks and some refreshments.
