Fort Douglas Military Museum
Fort Douglas Military Museum
Camp Douglas was established in October 1862 as a small military garrison about three miles east of Salt Lake City, Utah, for the purpose of protecting the overland mail route and telegraph lines along the Central Overland Route. In 1878, the post was renamed Fort Douglas.
The fort was officially closed in 1991 and most of the buildings turned over to the University of Utah. A small section of the original fort is used by the Army Reserve and includes the Fort Douglas Military Museum.
This visit to Salt Lake City is actually in four parts:

The National Museum of the Marine Corps : A Look Inside
Here's a tour of The National Museum of The Marine Corps near Quantico Virginia.
From their website:
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is a lasting tribute to U.S. Marines--past, present, and future.
Situated on a 135-acre site adjacent to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, and under the command of Marine Corps University, the Museum's soaring design evokes the image of the flag-raisers of Iwo Jima and beckons visitors to this 120,000-square-foot structure.
World-class interactive exhibits using the most innovative technology surround visitors with irreplaceable artifacts and immerse them in the sights and sounds of Marines in action.
A little something different for my channel, I hope you enjoy the tour!
Visit their website at :
The museum exists on donations as well, you can make a donation at that website if it's something you're into....

A brief tour of the Southeastern Indiana Veterans Museum
In this ten minute video, PG Gentrup of Rising Sun, Indiana provides a brief tour and overview of some of the items and stories in the collection of military uniforms, photos, and other memorabilia on display at the old Carnegie Library building in Rising Sun.
I am currently working to finish the full version of this video, which runs one hour and twenty minutes.

Some were family. Some were friends. All are remembered with genuine affection and a deep and abiding sense of gratitude.
Fairchild's small military museum. January 2011.
This is my tiny military museum (Updated: January 2011). I currently have 36 mannequins with 36 different genuine loadouts, and counting. It's ranging from US Regular Army to Special Forces. From Vietnam era gear to hard-to-find SEAL's modern gear & equipment.
I need 3 more mannequins ASAP for another SEAL UDT (w/ SI TECH waterproof pack), CCT & SWCC loadouts.
My target is to make them all full-sized and make it around 50 mannequins with 50 different loadouts this year 2011. Oh...and one big fuc*in room ;)
