National Mountain Museum, Sock-cho(국립산악박물관)
Do you like to travel Sokcho?^^
Mt. Seorak is good, Naksansa Buddhists Temple and sea of Donghae are also good~~~~moreover the town of Abai(father), Dynamic maze and so on.
Today's course is a bit different, but I am going to show you a video of a mountain climbing experience at the National Mountain Museum Soch-cho, Korea, where my 3brothers were very satisfied.
The fee is free, but you have to make a reservation. Trainers are very kind and teachable, my sons who never had a chance to climb rock before were able to challenge themselves.
These days, children are busy studying, so they often have a bad body balance. Experience rock climbing to improve your self-confidence and exercise. Enjoy^^
I recommend the National Mountain Museum for a good place in Sokcho. Thank you :)

Prepare to step into a world of forested beauty when you arrive at Seoraksan National Park.
Located in Gangwon-do, South Korea, Seoraksan National Park tours are popular with both residents of Korea and international travelers. It is a frequent destination for those staying in nearby Sokcho, a city renowned for its natural hot springs and mountainous surroundings. Seoraksan National Park’s 63 square miles are largely untouched by humans, so it’s easy to immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of nature.
Your Seoraksan National Park sightseeing begins at the park gates, where a towering bronze statue of Buddha awaits you. Take some pictures or place an offering at his feet, and then head into the park proper. It invites you to spend hours wandering along the many paths that wind through the park, crossing streams and winding beneath a canopy that might be thick with green or red leaves, depending on the season. You can even take a gondola ride to the top of the mountain. From the gondola—which is enclosed and climate-controlled—you can see all of Seoraksan National Park, so this is the place to grab some of those gorgeous landscape pictures to post on your social media.

This is a video clip which introduces the 12 Seonnyeotang, located at the westernmost tip of Mount Seoraksan, one of the most famous mountains in Korea. Tang refers to ponds in Korean. The 12 Seonnyeotang is boastful of its unique landscape and has a legend that night after night, the seonnyeo or fairies would come down from the sky to take a bath in the pond as its water is too pretty and clean.

WALKING TOUR [2019.01] Inside the Oceanview Room at Ramada by Wyndham Gangwon Sokcho
We decided one Saturday morning to take an overnight trip to Sokcho to see the winter ocean as well as eat some fresh seafood.
Our whimsical decision didn't allow us to book a room in advance or research what was available. However, we were able to book a room on our mobile phone while we were en route and we were lucky to get a room at the Ramada by Wyndham Gangwon Sokcho.
We've seen this hotel several times before on our travels to Gangwon province, but this was our first time staying there.
The hotel, as well as the room, is a very practical space that delivers the essentials of a hotel, but not the luxuries.
On this trip, that's all what we needed since most of the time was spent outside the hotel.

Sinheungsa Temple Mt. Seoraksan Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
On your next visit to Gangwan-do, Korea, pay a visit to Sinheungsa Temple, Mt. Seoraksan.
This exquisitely crafted building, first built in the 7th century, is considered the oldest existing Zen Buddhist temple. It has been destroyed by fire twice over the years, and always rebuilt. Singheungsa Temple, Mt. Seoraksan sightseeing usually includes pausing beneath the 50-foot bronze Buddha statue, which sits outside the building itself.
While the temple was once home to hundreds of monks of the Jogye Order, it is now a quiet place to enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

???? About Gangneung-si (강릉시)
Gangneung (Korean pronunciation: [kaŋ.nɯŋ]) is a city in Gangwon-do, on the east coast of South Korea. It has a population of 213,658 (as of 2017). Gangneung is the economic center of the Yeongdong region of Gangwon Province. Gangneung has many tourist attractions, such as Jeongdongjin, a very popular area for watching the sunrise, and Gyeongpo Beach. The city will host all the ice events for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
° Places to visit in Gangneung-si (강릉 가볼만한 곳)
╰ Gangneung Coffee Street (강릉커피거리)
Gangneung-si in Gangwon-do is the first local district in Korea to host a coffee festival and support coffee artisans as well has promoted development of coffee-related contents such as the coffee museum, coffee street, coffee factory, barista academy, etc. With almost all coffee shops in the area roasting their own coffee beans, Gangneung-si is well-recognized as the city of coffee.
╰ Jeongdongjin Sunrise Park (정동진 해돋이 공원)
Located in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, Jeongdongjin is a picturesque area with a quaint, little railway station standing alongside the sandy beach.
The combination of the area’s railroad station, beach, and groves of pine trees makes Jeongdongjin a very peaceful and romantic mini getaway. The highlight of the Jeongdongjin tour, however, is the sunrise. The early morning sun reaching out over the ocean and outlining the dewy silhouettes of the station and surrounding pines is a sight that is straight out of a fairy tale.

This time we traveled 2 hours and 30 minutes outside of the capital of Korea to Sokcho City. Once we arrived to the city we had to take a local bus to travel to the national park and that took another 45 minutes. The bus rides were well worth the trip because the beauty of these mountains were the best things my eyes have seen in a very long time. Hope you guys enjoy my latest video.
