John Forrest National Park, Perth, Western Australia 2019
Hi everyone,
John Forrest National Park has long been favoured as a site for a day-trip from Perth, with its variety of plant communities and wildlife and being a starting point for many walk trails. There are outstanding views from the lookout point on the scenic drive and a wide variety of attractions and facilities that make it a popular venue for families and groups.

John Forrest Tavern
John Forrest Tavern, located in the heart of John Forrest National Park, one of Australia's oldest conservation areas and Western Australia's first national park is a great place to stop for lunch.
Sit outside in the courtyard and you are very likely to encounter many native birds and the local kangaroos are happy grazing around outside any time of the day, having become quite accustomed to being a star attraction for visitors.

Riding the Tunnel in John Forrest National Park
I recently had a great morning riding with my brother, nephew and niece in the John Forrest National Park, in the hills east of Perth, Western Australia. The Railway Reserves Heritage Trail we rode on was once a railway line - we started from Parkerville and rode to Swan View and back. We stopped at Hovea Falls and National Park Falls (currently dry due to summer) to check out the views and went through the old railway tunnel (340m long) that is carved through the rock. The perfect weather topped off a great morning in a beautiful location. Shot on my GoPro Hero 7 Black Edition.

Western Australia - John Forrest National Park
John Forrest National Park is one of Australia's oldest conservation areas and Western Australia's first national park proclaimed in November 1900. The visitor area contains barbecue and picnic facilities and cultivated gardens of native plants. The rest of the park is largely undeveloped and is home to a variety of plant communities and wildlife.
The park is home to two waterfalls that flow in winter and spring – Hovea and National Park Falls. Hovea’s falls cascade down a large granite sheet while National Park Falls drops sharply over 20 metres of sheer rock face.

Travel Channel | Australia | Perth | Exploring | Travelling Couple | Exploring Western Australia
In this episode Mark and I are heading out into the Australian bush. We make our way to John Forrest National Park to see the Waterfalls which only run through winter and spring.
I take the opportunity to practice my long exposure photography skills but encounter some difficulties along the way, including a broken tripod.
I do however manage to get quite a nice shot in the end and am very pleased with myself but as I go to show Mark I am not getting quite the response I was hoping for.

Hello to tuition free week!
Hit off Noble Falls at the 3rd day of srping! We had an infinite star view to the never ending water flow, enjoying picnic on the rocks. It was pretty awkward at first because no one else do what we did. *which we had our picnic on rocky land, instead of the provided benches..* haha don't care its what you do to interact with the nature right :P despite uninvited guests all around us ~
The weather was perfect. The water was freezing cold. I think we almost got our feet freeze during our 'feet bath'. tsk tsk.
This was one blissful daytrip!
