National Museum of Transport - Howth Ireland
The museum is located in the Heritage Depot, Howth Demesne, Howth, Ireland. Sixty out of the 100 vehicles currently in Howth are on display. The oldest vehicle date from 1883, the newest 1984.
It's a nice experience to include in a Howth visit and costs only 4 Euro entrance. You can also have a nice walk around the castle cooking school or even go for a round of golf.

The National Transport Museum is located in the Heritage Depot, Howth Demesne, Howth, Ireland.
The Transport Museum Society of Ireland began with an abortive 1949 effort to preserve three Dublin trams. Totally voluntary, the Society became a limited company in 1971 and is now a registered charity, operating to international museum standards.
A century separates the oldest of the sixty exhibits from the newest, recording the Golden Age of commercial vehicles. Many are the extinct makers, several are rare or unique and some are sole survivors of once familiar types.
Sixty out of the 100 vehicles currently in Howth are on display, and others can be inspected by prior arrangement. The oldest items date from 1883, the newest 1984,
The National Transport Museum was established by the Transport Museum Society of Ireland, this collection is Ireland's only comprehensive assembly of public and commercial road transport.

Ex Bus Eireann Bombardier coach KE35
Driving through the Irish countryside in Preserved Ex-Bus Eireann Bombardier KE35. This bus is one of only two around today. Both are connected with the Transport Enthusiasts Club.
KE35 is restored in tour coach configuration with luxury trim.
It is powered by a Detroit 6V-71 with Allison V730 3 - speed transmission. It shares the same units as its Decker brother the KD. Differential ratios are different to the KD allowing faster cruising speed. The Last of the KEs were withdrawn in 1997.
Both KE35 and KE14 are run regularly.
