Pools by Calhetas - Beautiful, natural beach and swimming area on Sao Miguel, one of the islands in the Azores. This peaceful spot was a family favorite for us and we saw a few other families enjoying it as well. We spent a lot of time finding little lizards and spotting native birds of the Azores while exploring the pools.

Was cruising on Sao Miguel of the Azores Islands when we came across these pools; naturally I had to jump in. That said, if you're not good swimmer or not so adventurous the big pools near the spa for 5E is probably the way to go. I love the Azores.
