#21-25) SOUTH AFRICA TOUR (Complete Version)
Join us on a amazing adventure through South Africa & Swaziland, where we will see beautifull wildlife, stunning nature, learn about South African and Swazi culture and jump of world's highest bungee bridge.

Detailed route:
We depart fromJohannesburg and travel through Petoria, to Hoedspruit, where we will have a game drive at the Krugerpark.
Then, we travel towards Swaziland, passing the panorama route to Hazyview, we stop at the Blyde river canyon, God's window & Bourke's luck putholes.
In Swaziland, we visit the Matsamo Cultural Village & the Matsamo Cultural Group. Their music is used in the Exploring Africa series. We stay in an amazing logde, we also go to Mbabane and visit a recycled glass factory.
Next, we go to Hluluwe for a game drive and take a boat trip on Lake St. Lucia to seek out for hippos. On our way to Drakensberg, we stop at Horwick falls & the Nelson Mandela monument. We will also visit his burial place at his home village. Further we will have our last game drive at Inkwenkwenzi game reserve and find the rare white lion, amongst ofcourse with all the other magnificant animals we will meet on our way.
Next stop is the Valley of desolation at Graaf-Reinet. Then Knysna, from where we take a whale watching trip and also spot some dolphins. At Plettenberg Bay we visit the township of the Qolweni community and jump of the worlds highest bungee bridge (216m). And we also go to an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn and explore the Cango caves.
We travel through route 62, make a pitstop at a vineyard (Viljoensdrift) and arrive at our final destination; Cape Town. Here we will go up to the Table Mountain for some stunning views. We visit Houtbay and spot a colony of Cape fur seals, see penguins at Boulders beach by Simonstown and finally we will go to Cape of good hope and wrap up our South African adventure.

Kruger National Park - Full video | Kruger | A Road trip from Sun City | Travel the world
So we started our road trip from Sun City towards Kruger at 10 am in the morning. The Road trip is one of those rare memories that I will never forget and it's more amazing when it is with your family. The scenic beauty and the roads have no words to describe. We had our lunch in a place which have a Rhino Park with a lot of Rhinos and also a small Rhino museum. With all the excitement to experience the African wildlife , we reached Kruger at around 5pm in the evening.
Our accommodation at Kruger was another life time experience. The Protea Hotel Kruger Gate by Marriott offered us an luxurious accommodation in the African bush. This hotel near Kruger is located at the Paul Kruger Gate of the Kruger National Park. We felt like we entered a world of suspended timber walkways threading through indigenous forests alive with birdsong at this Kruger Park accommodation. We experienced the true chorus of Africa on our stay at the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate - the grunt of a Hippo, the bark of a Baboon or a laugh of the Hyena. The Protea will make you feel like part of the bush, as will dining under the stars in African style. Had an beautiful night sleep dreaming about the wildlife and nature .
As the dawn was leading into the day we started our Safari at 5 am , we drove through Paul Kruger Gate into the Kruger National Park. We were on a full day Game drive in an open vehicle with Elephant Herd tours and Safaris under the guidance of Mike who is a Dutch but had grown-up in these areas and is an amazing Ranger.
I could smell the wilderness , from the dewy damp grass to a heady mixture of vegetation. We used to stop when we get to sight some of the beautiful creation of God like Hyaenas, Cheetahs, Lions, Elephants, Impalas, Kudu, Giraffe, Baboons, Eagles, Vultures etc. And Mike used to cut the engine so that we can have an breathtaking view of the wildlife. Mike explained the intricacies of their social structure. My thoughts moved away and I had goosebumps throughout the Safari imagining the life of a Ranger and their close bonding with the wildlife and nature. We had our snacks and lunch at two different Jungle Camps.
So now it's time for the sun to set and thus the drive came to an end. We reached our hotel at 5.30pm and had an wonderful dine under the stars in between the African wilderness. One of my childhood dreams came true and will definitely visit Africa again.

The Blyde River Canyon is part of the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga in South Africa. Set against the Greater Drakensberg Escarpment, the Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world and encompasses some of the most dramatic scenery in South Africa. The Canyon starts at Bourke's Luck Potholes and includes sights such as the Pinnacle, God's Window, Mac Mac Falls and the Three Rondavels.
