Bird watching and wildlife tour with cutural attractions in Sri Lanka
This video was created by Paul Seligman form Wales. He and his partner Janet Dawes toured for 14 days in Sri Lanka. The tour was led by Prasanjith Caldera of Walk With Jith (walk withjith.com). They toured many cultural, birding, and wildlife in central, western and southern Sri Lanka; Colombo, Dambulla, Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Horton Plains, Udawalawa, Sinharaja, and Kitulgala. This could be very useful for anyone to get an idea about a tour in Sri Lanka. Paul and Janet are now very good friends of Prasanjith. Parasanjith visited them twice in UK when he attended the British Bird Fair in 2006 and 2007. Paul and Janet helps and advises on developing Prasanjith's tour company, Walk With Jith.

Welcome to my daily vlogs! TRAVEL. FOOD. COMEDY. SINGING. ANTS. LIFE.
I upload a new video every day at 7AM EST!
About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first Youtube channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Brief Garden | Aluthgama | Sri Lanka
Brief Garden 10 kilometres inland from Bentota. A barely controlled riot of a garden out of The Jungle Book, the grounds are a lovely place to get lost. The house, which used to be the home of Bevis Bawa, brother of renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa, has an eclectic range of artwork on display – from homoerotic sculpture to a wonderful mural of Sri Lankan life in the style of Marc Chagall.

Leopard Trails, Yala | Hotels in Sri Lanka
#leopardtrails #yala #yalasrilanka
Introduction
The Leopard Trails camp site, bordering the Yala National Park, provides an authentic game park experience in a remote area surrounded by water and wilderness without conceding modern day comforts. Sleep in spacious canvas tents with ensuite bathrooms; dine on Sri Lankan or western cuisine under a starlit sky; and explore Yala’s untouched wilderness in a safari jeep with a picnic basket in hand.
Arrive at the campsite around 12 noon and, after lunch and a briefing on the Leopard Trails experience by the in-house naturalist, go on an afternoon game drive Back at the camp around 6.30 pm, relax with a chilled fruit juice or a beer in the verandah of your own tent. At nightfall, guests meet around a bonfire and share their adventures, followed by dinner and the knowledge that more adventure awaits at dawn the next morning.
Families are welcome at Leopard Trails; enquire about the Junior Ranger Programme which enables children to identify the different bird calls, animal foot prints, and learn of wildlife conservation. The in-house naturalist is ever willing to share his knowledge of the Yala’s wild elephants, leopards, sloth bear, mugger crocodiles and numerous birds. Much is done to conserve the natural environment and benefit the local village community. Plastics are discouraged and all garbage is disposed of. Guests are also educated on environmental conservation.
The Leopard Trails all-inclusive package covers tented accommodation; two game drives per day in a customized vehicle accompanied by an experienced guide; snacks and drinks on game drives; breakfast, lunch and dinner at camp; water, fruit juices, soft drinks, tea and coffee; wine, beer, imported spirits; and all park entry fees. A minimum stay of two nights is recommended. If guests are interested in going on a private game drive accompanied with a naturalist an additional supplement is applicable.
Leopard Trails also provides a mobile camping experience within the buffer zone of Wilpattu National Park in the North West.

Accommodation is in eight spacious, waterproof tents out of which six are standard and two luxurious tents.
