Bali is a popular tourist island located between Java and Lombok.

In our previous episode we covered magnificent Balinese temples. Today we focus more on recreation, nature and culture.
The most popular tourist city in Bali is Kuta. Here you can find many shops, hotels, spa & tattoo salons, restaurants, bars and clubs. If you like parties and crowded places this is the spot for you.
Kuta is also home to a memorial to the victims of the terrorist attack in 2002 which was built on the site bomb.
People simply love coming to Kuta, for its:
Sandy beaches,
Nice people,
Good weather,
and fresh sea food.
If you’re an animal lover you’re in luck because of an abundant wildlife.
You can choose between Safari & Marine Park, Reptile Park, Turtle Center, Bird and Butterfly Parks and Monkey Forests.
The most popular is probably Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud.
Just remember they are still, in fact, wild animals.
If you like hiking you can climb one of many volcanoes.

Close to Seminyak is Petitenget Temple. Today, this centuries-old place of worship is alive with restaurants and fashion boutiques. Uluwatu is another of Bali's temple, this one perched dramatically atop a cliff.
In the west of Bali is Jimbaran, renowned for its seafood restaurants.

Bali day 16- The Bali Barat National Park
My name is Yvonne and this vlog is for my grandparents. For several years they've had one big wish; going on vacation to Bali. Unfortunately we had to cancel the trip again this year for them. But my friend Jolien and I decided that we should still go. That's why my grandparents asked us to take a lot of pictures and video's so that it would feel like they are here with us on vacation. But I thought we should do something more extreem. That's why I'm going to vlog everything every single day for three weeks for my grandparents so that they can experience Bali almost just as much as we do.
Today we went to the Bali Barat National Park in the most west side of the island. Here we saw a lot of different animals and beautiful nature.

Located off the northwest tip of Bird's Head Peninsula on the island of New Guinea, in Indonesia's West Papua province, Raja Ampat, or the Four Kings, is an archipelago comprising over 1,500 small islands, cays, and shoals surrounding the four main islands of Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo, and the smaller island of Kofiau. The Raja Ampat archipelago is the part of Coral Triangle which contains the richest marine biodiversity on earth.
Raja Ampat Regency is a new regency which separated from Sorong Regency in 2004. The population of the Regency was recently (January 2014) put at 49, 048. It encompasses more than 40,000 km² of land and sea, which also contains Cenderawasih Bay, the largest marine national park in Indonesia. It is a part of the newly named West Papua province of Indonesia which was formerly Irian Jaya. Some of the islands are the most northern pieces of land in the Australian continent.
Raja Ampat is considered the global epicenter of tropical marine bio-diversity and is referred to as The Crown Jewel of the Bird's Head Seascape, which also includes Cenderawasih Bay and Triton Bay.
