Machu Picchu Vacation Travel Video Guide - Tour Leaders Peru Adventure
Machu Picchu and Tour By Locals. is one of the most stunning locations on the planet. From the breathtaking splendor of craggy mountains to the postcard-perfection of our beaches. The scenic backdrop makes for some of the best hiking tours in the world. We already know this, of course, and that’s why we Set up Tour Leaders Peru Adventure; to give other people a glimpse into Peruvian culture, preserve our Incan heritage, and to share the beauty of our fabled land with the globe.
Tours of Peru were already a regular thing when we began our Peru adventures. But we wanted to go a step further. We didn’t just want to show tourists around Peru. We wanted them to engage with the culture, learn about the local wildlife, the history, and relevance of each place. Perhaps most importantly of all. We want to create a Tour Group in Peru. That would help preserve our natural areas and create a cycle of “giving back” within our community.
As natural-born Peruvians and descendants of the Inca tribe themselves. It is incredibly important to us that our traditional ways of life be preserving. Even as we welcome the new diverse cultural values arising in our modern world. Our history needs to be kept, the stories of our Ancestors need to be heeded. The ecology of our country saved from further environmental destruction. We didn’t just want to form a tour company in Peru. Tour Leaders is trying to create a tour company for Peru

INCREDIBLE nature moment with Sea Lions | Ballestas Islands, Paracas, Peru
There is so much incredible nature in Peru. Even in the desert... well, close by. Just off the coast of Paracas is the Ballestas Islands, part of the Paracas National Reserve. In this video we arrive to Paracas and take part in a boat trip out the to islands and see penguins and birds before witnessing an incredible nature moment with a sea lion and it's young cub. It was like something straight out of a nature documentary.
We learned about the islands and the wildlife there before heading back to the mainland to see the Paracas National Reserve. The desert meets the ocean in this vast landscape. We saw some stunning viewpoints and unique beaches, enjoyed local seafood and sunsets.
We are so new to vlog travel, having just provided highlights set to music before (see the SE Asia series). SO this adventure is filmed and edited on the road, in hostels, on the ground with THE most slow WIFI. Having to travel and edit is going to be challenging. We would love for you to follow us in the journey and hope the videos provide good information if you are planning to travel to the area or just interested. If it helps just one of you, then thats amazing!
Join as we learn how to navigate this continent and this world, with a backpack on and camera set to record. Our day to day experiences, the highs and the low. REAL backpacking, hostels, transport.

ANCASH Peru travels coastal tours destination vacations adventure , trekking biking
Destination Ancash tourism The department of Ancash starts on a slightly hilly coastal strip and climbs up to the highest snow-capped mountains in Peru.
Spread out along the Callejon de Huaylas, a dazzling valley stuck between two mountain ranges, the Blanca and Negra Cordilleras, you will find picturesque and pleasant cities like Recuay, Carhuas, Yungay, and Caras, while the urban and commercial center of the area is the capital of Ancash, the energetic city of Huarás. It was between the years 1200 b.C. and 200 b.C. that the Chavín lived in the region, the same that left as their legacy the impressive archeological complex of Chavin de Huantar, which, in 1985, UNESCO placed on the World Cultural Heritage List.
Throughout the entire department, you can see the most spectacular snow covered mountains, among them Mount Huascaran (6,768 ma.s.l.), the tallest peak in Peru. In addition, there are hot springs and spectacular lakes as those of Llanganuco; in all, it is an area perfect for adventure sports like white water rafting, mountain climbing, mountain biking, and trekking.
The Huascaran National Park, placed on the World Natural Heritage List by UNESCO, guards wildlife species in its beautiful surroundings like condors, vicuñas, deer, pumas, Andean foxes, and viscachas
Peru - Living and surfing on the Inca coast
Dramatically, the coast plunges into the sea, the so-called Costa of Peru is a gigantic desert on the Pacific Ocean, 2,400 kilometers long. Rugged, bizarre, like from another star. Ancient cultures settled here, the Moche and the Chimú. Later the proud Inca, the self-proclaimed royal people of the Andes, ruled.
In the small town of Huanchaco in northern Peru, the fishermen build a new boat every month: from reed. The small ships are called Caballito de Totora (reed horses), because the shape is reminiscent of a horse and the fishermen ride in it kneeling in the waves. About 2,000 years ago, the moche used it to go out to sea. Carlos Segura Azola is a descendant of the moche. He is currently building a reed horse again. But actually something completely different occupies him. Carlos has been afraid of the sea ever since his father drowned at work. The fisherman consults a Brucha, a witch. She tries to drive him out of panic at the Pacific with mysterious ceremonies. At some point Carlos' reed boat is finished and he has to get out to his nets again.
In the south, in the port city of Pisco, there are hardly any private cars. Mototaxis on three wheels are the means of transport here. Every moto looks different, because the young drivers compete with each other. They constantly pimp out their tricycles with spoilers, mirrors and all kinds of decorations. Because if you stand out in the traffic jam, you get the most passengers.
But nowhere else in Peru is road traffic as dense and chaotic as in the capital Lima. That's why Juan Ortiz goes daily with his Delta glider over the coastal road into the air. He is the flying reporter and reports live for the traffic news. And he is not alone with his aircraft. Dozens of paragliders float along the cliffs of Lima at any time of the day. The Pacific provides a constant upwind on the up to 160 meter high cliffs.
Somewhere in the labyrinth of the metropolis of millions hundreds of believers trot to the beat of the music of a Jesus statue on the cross. A procession for the Lord of Miracles, the brass band intones church songs. The music student Bruno Alvarado drags and plays the largest instrument, a sousaphone. Every day there are dozens of processions in Lima. Practical for Bruno, he finances his studies with the musical accompaniment.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, in the Paracas National Park, it is deserted. Luis Zapato runs a kiosk on a lonely beach amidst huge sand dunes. The kiosk has meanwhile developed into a gourmet temple, even the capital city dwellers flock here. Especially because of the scallops that Luis is the only licence holder to collect far and wide from the seabed. Inti Mar he called his beach snack, Inti is the sun god, Mar the sea. At Luis you literally eat like a sun god at the sea. This is only possible here, on the Inca coast.
Amazonia Expeditions - Tour (part 2 of 3)

About Amazonia Expeditions:
Amazonia Expeditions has operated fine natural history and adventure trips in the western Amazon since 1981. We are the only licensed tour operator with access to Peru's Tamshiyacu-Tahuayo Reserve, famed for its diversity of wildlife. Our award winning jungle lodge on the Tahuayo River is open every day of the year. It is a small lodge, with only fifteen cabins, keeping the rainforest experience personalized, intimate and manageable from an eco-tour perspective. Sufficient English speaking men and women guides are available so that every guest can have an itinerary customized to their needs and interests.
What to expect staying in a rainforest lodge in Peru ????????
As part of our superb Peru tour with GAdventures, we visited the amazing Tambopata Eco Lodge for 2 nights, led by our friendly, well informed guide, Leo.
We stayed in a bungalow with no electricity and solar heated shower, which might sound a bit rustic but was actually lovely. Well equipped with a real bathroom, flushing toilet, real beds and mosquito nets, table, chairs and hammock!
The restaurant served excellent, fresh buffet food and in the bar you could buy an ice-cold beer in the evening while they ran the generators for a couple of hours until blackout. After this all you could see were fireflies!
We did a night wildlife walk on the first evening, taking strong advice to tuck trousers into socks to stop ants crawling into socks/shoes. Then the second morning we did an early morning explore, spotting wildlife all the way.
This was an awesome experience, really well prepared, really well guided, yet still felt like miles from civilisation!
Amazing Views of Sacred Valley Peru
This video was taken while vacationing in Sacred Valley near Cuzco Peru. Words can not describe the natural beauty of this place. This valley was incredibly serene, the air so fresh, abundant wild life and great country living. I highly recommend this tour as part of your Peruvian vacation. Its approximately 1 hour from Cuzco via bus. Make sure to dedicate an entire day to stroll along this beautiful area at a slow pace to make up the the high altitude elevations.
