Jotunheimen National Park - Norway
#jotunheimen #norway
With over 250 mountains of almost 2000 meters high, including the 2469 meters Galdhøpiggen, Jotunheimen offers nature at its peak. Hike, bike, climb or ski. Flow with rivers and listen to waterfalls.
Camp wild and free, spend the night sleeping inside the park’s wooden huts, cabins and lodges or built a fire in a suite of a boutique hotel called Herangtunet or stay nearby the Besseggen at Gjendesheim.
In the Home of the Giants you touch the sky walking over the famous Besseggen ridge with Beitostølen nearby.
Fly with eagles standing on top of the mighty Galdhøpiggen or just lie on your back in the lush meadows of this natural beauty embraced by picturesque Lom, the green slopes of Gudbrandsdalen, traditional Valdres, the waters of the Sognefjord and the eternal ice of the Jostedalsbreen glacier.
So watch and be watched by the abundant wildlife. Experience the freedom, beauty, Zen and mystique of Europe’s wildest nature. Come, meet the seasons and listen to the heart of Norway, beating in Jotunheimen.
Jotunheimen National Park, the heart of Norway beats between Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim.

There is much to discuss on this new paradigm. Is it all correct? Time, critical thinking and much discussion will tell.

I AM Speaking Life to my Cells & DNA Life is just to funny! I have turned 10 years into a life time of fun. See what you can do when you can collapse time. I am becoming younger healthier stronger because I say I am. I speak life to my atoms my cells and to my DNA. I speak that I am becoming that of a 21-year-old Elite Olympic athlete. Specialize in decathlon triathlon. And I'll be darned if my body is cooperating.
By the way you haven't seen nothing yet the next 20 years is going to be a tremendous! I am second intention to run a Ironman Triathlon in the next year and, I intend to be able to run one when I'm 90 years old.
The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.

It was very beautiful.
Anders Beer Wilse - 20th century Photography Norway
Anders Beer Wilse (12 June 1865 – 21 February 1949) was a Norwegian photographer whose photography visually documented Norway in the early to mid-20th century.
Wilse was born in Flekkefjord, but grew up in Kragerø and decided early to become a sailor. After having graduated with a technical degree from the technical school in Horten in 1882, he emigrated to the United States in 1884. He did not find work in the beginning, but eventually settled in Seattle working for the United States Geological Survey. He is reported to have acquired his first camera in 1886. He opened a photography store in Seattle in 1897, after having visited Norway and married Helen Marie Hutchinson. In 1900, his wife and children moved to Norway, and Wilse himself joined them, opening a photography store in Christiania in 1901, after 17 years in the United States.

Kayaking Beautiful Dalslandkanal, Sweden - 13 Days
This video summarizes a 13 day kayak trip with friends on Dalsland Canal, Sweden.
NOTE: This video combines and condenses my earlier 2 part videos (1h 24m in total) into a single 51m long video (40% shorter, mainly shortened video clips).
- Kayaking Dalslandskanal, Sweden - Day 1-9
- Kayaking Dalslandskanal, Sweden - Day 10-13
Dalsland Canal is one of Europe's most beautiful waterways and connects a number of lakes and rivers with water locks and idyllic canal passages. The total drop in altitude is 66m from lake Stora Le down to the big lake Vänern. Dalsland is a beautiful, wild and sparsely populated area in western Sweden situated between Vänern and the Norwegian border.
Our trip starts in Ed on the big lake Stora Le and continues over lakes Foxen, Lelång, Västra Silen, Svärdlång, Laxsjön, Råvarp, via the famous locks in Håverud & other locks, over lakes Ånimmen, Svanefjorden, Vänern and finally ends in Mellerud. The video shows a couple of overview maps plus a more detailed map for each new day.
We were between 3 and 5 kayakers on different stretches. The kayak trip was a very nice experience even if we got all sorts of weather. Regarding wildlife we saw many Loons (Lom), Ospreys (Fiskgjuse), other birds, deer and several beaver huts (but no beavers). Navigating our kayaks through the water locks was also a new and fun experience!
I also had a chance to get acquainted with my first kayak sail (TW 0.8m2 sail from Flat Earth Kayak Sails). It was a blast and I can't wait until autumn comes with good winds and warm water!
First part was unfortunately accidently filmed with the 960p GoPro video setting, sorry about that. The pictures are full HD though and the second part is full 1920x1080 HD.
Hope you enjoy it and if so, please share it!

Jotunheimen (“Home of the Giants”) National Park (Norwegian: Jotunheimen nasjonalpark) is a national park in Norway, recognized as one of the country's premier hiking and fishing regions. The national park covers 1,151 km² and is part of the larger area Jotunheimen. More than 250 peaks rise above 1,900 metres (6,000 feet), including Northern Europe's two highest peaks: Galdhøpiggen at 2,469 metres, and Glittertind at 2,465 metres.
The National Park covers most of the mountainous region of Jotunheimen, including Hurrungane, but Utladalen and its surroundings are within Utladalen Landscape Protection Area. Geographically, it lies in both Oppland and Sogn og Fjordane counties. Geologically the Jotunheimen is a Precambrian province. Glaciers have carved the hard gabbro rock massifs of the Jotunheimen, leaving numerous valleys and the many peaks.
Wildlife include the reindeer, elk, deer, wolverines and lynx. Most lakes and rivers hold trout.
