CANARY ISLANDS - GRAN CANARIA - Amazing view and the Camel Tour

Camel Tour in Canary Islands
1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to San Bartolome Tirajana.
Since we stay in Maspalomas so it only takes 30 mins drive to San Bartolome Tirajana.
Zigzag road, the steep side and narrow for a big bus is a bit nervous for me but the view is so amazing.
We book the tour by online, it’s more cheaper. You can choose if you want with inclusive meal for lunch or nothing, then you need to bring your own food and water.

GRAN CANARIA Cinematic || Maspalomas Sand Dunes
The Maspalomas Dune system is a unique wild place in the Canary Islands due to its beauty and range of ecosystems. Its 400 hectares, protected by the Canarian government as a Nature Reserve of special value, include a fantastic beach, a dynamic sand dune system, palm grove and a brackish lagoon. This mix of desert and oasis is at the southern tip of Gran Canaria and is surrounded by the famous Maspalomas resort..
Travel around Gran Canaria. Panoramic landscapes.
Cliffs dominate the south western and western coasts, whereas the coastline of the north and northeast offers more diverse pleasures, including a wide variety of beaches and coves. The mountainous centre of the island features a few high peaks and many gorges radiating out towards the sea.
Coves and beaches, impressive cliffs, hidden corners, magnificent mountains, stunning craters and amazing ravines with their lush, sub-tropical vegetation and natural reserves represent some of the many natural delights, which mark Gran Canaria’s personality … a land of many faces.

Maspalomas Sand Dunes, Spain
Maspalomas Sand Dunes, Spain
Maspalomas Dunes are one of the most picturesque places in Gran Canaria , representing a piece of sandy desert, which spreads over 4 km along the coastal area of the island. The sand originated from coral reefs crushed into reasonable golden grains of limestone by the grinding action of glaciers approximately more than thousands of years ago. The present ocean dragged them to the shore and ultimately wind accumulated them into dunes.
This site is in close proximity to the eponymous town and attracts many tourists. Around the tower comfortable hotels and beautiful green lawn for golf lovers is so revered aristocratic sport. The dunes are constantly moving, although the movement is absolutely unnoticeable to the eye and is several meters per year. Against the background of azure-blue waters of the Atlantic Sands look extremely colorful in different seasons and together form an incredibly beautiful picture painted by nature. The sand of the more than 32-ft (10 m) high dunes was not blown over from the Sahara - as often presumed – but has maritime origins; it is made of finely grind lime shells of mussels.
Maspalomas Dunes are the result of crushed coral in the sand, due to the natural chaos caused by the ice age. Since 1994, Maspalomas has got the status of a nature reserve 403 hectares, which continues inland another outstanding park Gran Canaria - La Charco. There remained a unique lake, under pressure dunes periodically changes its coastline.
Beach area somewhere equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas and showers, but there are wild places for fans of classic holiday in peace and quiet, in the absence of infrastructure. Sand, especially in the middle of the day, it is very hot, so you should take with a beach shoes. Maspalomas Dunes certainly worthy of special attention, and definitely worth it to give them a little time during your stay on the island of Gran Canaria.
At the western end of this nature reserve you’ll find El Oasis, which is bordered by La Charca, the remains of a sea-water lagoon bordered with palm trees, hosting many species of migratory birds from Europe stopping here on their route to Africa.

Adventure Cove Waterpark’s attractions can be divided into three categories: adventure rides, non-rides, and ultimate marine encounters.
About Adventure Cove Waterpark
Here we present the most comprehensive Adventure Cove Waterpark Guide you can find on the interwebs, complete with tips, pictures, and other useful information that will make your next trip down your most fulfilling Adventure Cove Waterpark experience.
Adventure Cove Waterpark’s attractions can be divided into three categories: adventure rides, non-rides, and ultimate marine encounters.
– The Adventure Cove Waterpark Guide –
Upon entry, changing rooms and lockers are located on your left. The Adventure River is to your right. But first…
Keep Your Belongings Safe
Alongside your valuables, that nagging, kiasu voice in your head is responsible for the cap, sun visor and copious amounts of snacks that have miraculously managed to fit into your backpack.
Upon entry: on the right of the changing rooms are lockers.
Lockers are located strategically at the entrance, and come in two sizes. It costs $10 to rent the smaller one and $20 for the larger one per day.
Note: The smaller locker should be able to comfortably accommodate two regular backpacks.
ALTERNATIVELY
Take a leisurely stroll to Bluwater Bay to deposit your belongings at the lockers there. Bluwater Bay is closer to the attractions.
Cabanas near Bluwater Bay.
But if you are coming to the waterpark in a group, a more value-for-money option is to rent a cabana at Bluwater Bay or Seahorse Hideaway & Adventure River Gardens. Prices range from $68 to $128, varying with location and peak/non-peak season.
Renting a cabana comes with perks like a $10 Food & Beverage voucher, 2 bottles of mineral water, 2 towels and usage of a personal safe. RWS Invites Attractions members get full-day cabana rental at half-day rates. Cabanas are available for rental on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Guest Services Counter- if you want to rent one, approach the Guest Services Counter inside the park (located near the entrance).
– Adventure Rides –
All rides are clustered west of Adventure Cove Waterpark, so you can get from one ride to another quickly. However, queues get longer throughout the day, and if you intend to try all the rides or go on them more than once, start with the rides first before moving on to other attractions.
If rides are your priority, grab a float and hop on the Adventure River for a fast track to your first stop after depositing your stuff in the lockers to your left. The Adventure River circles the entire waterpark, and you can get off anywhere you want.
No need to worry about returning your float – you can either leave them in the pool or deposit them at the many float return stations dotting the river’s course.
Rides #1 & #2: The Whirlpool Washout and Spiral Washout
The Whirlpool Washout and the Spiral Washout share the same platform and exit pool.
Spiral Washout
With its multiple twists and dips, the Spiral Washout proved to be the more thrilling of the two.
Parents have to be on hand to help carry the large yellow floats to use.
Whirlpool Washout
The Whirlpool Washout is more leisurely, and will be more suited to those looking for a relaxing and fun ride with friends.
Still, this ride makes for a good photo spot!
Parents have to be on hand to help carry the large yellow floats to the platform.
Bluwater Bay.
Head towards the direction of Bluwater Bay, the waterpark’s only wave pool, and you’ll find the rest of the rides. The Tidal Twister is next on your list.
With its twists on the mild side, the scariest part of this ride was gliding down a tunnel in pitch darkness.
Parents have to be on hand to help carry the large yellow floats to the platform.
Ride #4: Pipeline Plunge
Beside the Tidal Twister is the Pipeline Plunge. We crown the Pipeline Plunge the second most thrilling ride in Adventure Cove Waterpark. Fast, dark and unpredictable, this ride will surprise you at every turn.
Again, young children will not be able to handle the bulky floats alone. The ride may be slightly unnerving for younger children.
Ride #5: Dueling Racer
Race a friend down this ride on blue rubber mats.
Although this slide is short, you’ll descend face first down an exciting drop at the very beginning, giving you quite the rush.
