Ramin Power Plant is a natural gas-fired plant which is located in southwest region in Iran.
This is a thermal power plant situated in 20km northeast of Ahvaz on the right bank of Karoon River رودخانه كارون with total producing 1,850 MW of electricity.
It is one of the most important infrastructural projects that have been put into operation in Iran. The first unit came on line in 1979. Four years later unit 2 was completed in 1983.
The first four units were designed and built with total capacity of 305 MW power generating.
Both fifth and sixth units were implemented with 315 MW.

Ahvaz Pipeline Company was established in 1966 in a large area of Ahwaz city using modern machinery and advanced equipment and employing specialized manpower for the production of steel pipes for the oil, gas, petrochemical and water industries.
The company's pipes include all types of steel pipes (sour and non-wire), 6 to 24 inches (HFW), SAWL (24 to 56 inches), SAWH (24 to 100 inches), and production of wells ( Casing is from 8.3 to 13 inches to 30 inches.

Ahvaz or Ahwaz is a city in the southwest of Iran, and the capital of Khuzestan province. At the 2011 census, its population was 1,112,021 and its built-up area with Sheybany was home to 1,136,989 inhabitants. Iran's only navigable river, Karun passes by the middle of the city. It has a long history dating back to the Achaemenid period. In the ancient times, it had been one of the main centers of the Academy of Gondishapur. Keeyow Lake (Persian: دریاچه کیو, Lurish dialect: سراوو کیاوو) is a natural lake located in the northwest of Khorramabad in Lorestan Province.
This lake spans a seven-hectare area and has a depth of 3 to 7 meters. There is an amusement park as well as other recreational facilities next to this lake.
This lake, which is the only natural city lake in Iran, is a habitat for native and migratory birds and aquatic animals.
