Sunset Landscape Photography Hike - Eagle Bluffs, North Vancouver BC
Instagram:
Website:
The beginning of my journey documenting some of my landscape photography and hiking missions (vlog style). This one was a short day hike up to Eagle Bluffs on Cypress Mountain in North Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada) a couple of months ago.
This was an evening hike that was a night hike in the dark on the way down the mountain which was a little spooky to do solo. A good test of determination to get the shot. I enjoyed talking through my process and at the very least I think this can help to better understand my compositions and improve them in the future.
My video structure and editing can only improve (as can my speed once I get a structure down). Hope you enjoy and please drop me a message if you got something out of this video or have any questions. I will most definitely get back to you!

Best Hiking Trails in Vancouver: Howe Sound Crest Trail
One of the most scenic hiking trails in the world, Howe Sound Crest Trail overlooks many famous landmarks in West Vancouver, including Horseshoe Bay, Bowen Island, the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island, The Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler, and of course, Howe Sound itself. We spent an afternoon climbing from Bowen Lookout to St. Marks Summit Lookout and back, just in time for the unforgettable Pacific Ocean sunset.
Technical notes: Shot mostly handheld with a Canon 60D camera. Photos are HDR panoramas. Music credits: Aura by Thomas Bergersen, Parfait Amour and Remember Me by Two Steps From Hell.

Landscape Photography - Banff National Park and Jasper National Park in 7 Days!
The Canadian Rockies had been on my list of places to photograph for many years. In June 2017, it finally became a reality. We decided to focus our 7 day landscape photography trip in Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. We had high expectations and were not disappointed with the amazing and diverse scenery that was seemingly found everywhere we explored. Since it was summer time, daylight lasted very long and we wanted to make the most of it! We averaged 19 hour days to catch both sunrise and sunset, always eager to experience the next location (and the journey to it!). In addition, Canada was celebrating their 150th Anniversary, so national park passes were on the house! These two parks were amazing to see, but are just a fraction of the beauty Alberta and Canada have to offer. We will definitely have to return and explore more! Hope you enjoy the video!

Holiday Weekend in BC-Landscape photography & Nature.
So it was holiday weekend here in BC so decided on making the most of 3days break from work. I had a 400km roundtrip drive from Vancouver as far as Duffy Lake. Was a beautiful drive up the Sea To Sky Highway, but unfortunately the weather wasn't on my side on this particular day, reluctantly had to turn round & head back to Vancouver. Luckily as it was holiday weekend I still had 2days left to go out shooting photography, & decided I would spend those 2days out with the camera keeping it local. Thanks for watching.
Sea to Sky Gondola Experience Squamish near Vancouver Canada
The Sea to Sky Gondola Experience Squamish near Vancouver Canada with it's spectacular views, nature trails and suspension bridge. On the ride up the Sea to Sky Gondola there are spectacular views in all directions. One at the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola there are hiking trails with amazing view of the surrounding mountains and the sea below, there are several lookouts hanging out over steep drops and cliffs and there is a suspension bridge crossing a gully. Once the top has been fully explored it's back onto the Sea to Sky Gondola, although this time it's the Sky to Sea Gondola for the ride back down and more spectacular views in all directions.
Filmed with a Panasonic GH4 camera with a Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 lens and a GoPro Hero 4 Black camera

LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY | Vancouver Island | Rosewall Creek Provincial Park
Excuses, excuses, I'm full of them. At certain times of the year it can be very difficult to get motivated, especially when the skies are falling. In this vlog I drive up island to a new area for some exploratory landscape photography.
