Ambulance. According to their website which they didn't update since several years they use an ambulance to protect their own firefighters during fire and rescue related incidents as well as back up if Navajo Nation EMS is busy or if a call requires multiple ambulances.
Ford E-series/ Horton.
0:32
Mobile command unit of the NNFD. Farber Specialty Vehicles.

Rescue 10. From their website: 1992 Chevy 3500 4x4 equipped with a rescue box. The rescue responds to all rescue incidents and calls for medical aid. On fire scenes, it supports the engine with manpower and equipment.
Might be out of service or just a spare unit now.

Sunset at the fire house. Beautiful view and a beautiful evening there. Just the rest of the day until sunset was busy due to several t-storms which hit the area. The firefighter had at least 11 calls that day.
I also attached a picture to show you why the city is called Window Rock :)
I got told that the personnel situation in the Navajo Nation Fire Department looks pretty bad. Window Rock's station is staffed by 2 paid firefighters (1 per shift) and a 3rd who is a volunteer. NNFD has less than 10 paid firefighters if I remember right and volunteers are rare. Sad thing that they have just a few volunteers which is unusual for Arizona/ the States. Especially in the Navajo Nation with their native american heritage and culture of helping each other.
Special thanks to the NNFD! :)

Priorities of Navajo President-elect R. Begaye & Vice President-elect J. Nez, April 22, 2015
Navajo Nation President-elect Russell Begaye & Vice President-elect Jonathan Nez held a press conference, which was the day after they won the special presidential election, at their campaign headquarters in Window Rock, Ariz., on April 22, 2015.
Begaye and Nez thanked their political opponents, former Navajo Nation President Joe Shirley Jr. and his running mate, Dineh Benally before announcing their administration's priorities.
Their top priority was the overhauling of the election process. Their other priorities were the state, tribal and federal budget process; budgeting; no reversions of tribal contracts and grants; working with the Navajo Nation Council, state, county, federal and tribal governments; collaboration among the tribal divisions and enterprises, and investing in youth.
A Q&A with media immediately followed the announcement of priorities by Begaye and Nez. The Q&A is in a separate video.

People Will Carry Your Story
People Will Carry Your Story, produced by Pinkie Hugs and Spark Media, documents a journey from Salt Lake City through the southern Utah strip of the Navajo Reservation to share information on gynecologic cancers and to enhance understanding of health care access and delivery. Screenings of What Every Woman Should Know and No Evidence of Disease prompted the interviews and conversations in this film, which was made possible with generous support from the GOG Foundation, Inc. And, we are especially grateful to the American Indian Program at Huntsman Cancer Institute; Utah Navajo Health System, Inc.; and all of the wonderful people who made it possible for this story to be carried/shared.
