We head even further inland, to Nayoro City and the beginning of the Shinmei Line. The Shinmei Line was a 122.8 km line in the central area of Hokkaido, connecting the small city of Nayoro to the even smaller city of Fukagawa further south.

また内陸を入って、旧深名線起点の名寄市に行く。深名線は121.8㌔で名寄市と少し南にある深川市を結んだ鉄道だった。
