Momentan fahren noch die Züge über die alte RosensteinEisenbahnbrücke über den Neckar zwischen Stuttgart und Bad Cannstatt, bis die Arbeiten von S21 abgeschlossen sind.
Dann könnte es vielleicht auch in Stuttgart auf einer Brücke so aussehen wie auf der 'High Line' in New York oder auf der 'Promenade Plantee' in Paris.
Unsere Initiative RosensteinLINE Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt - Der Park über dem Neckar versucht den Verantwortlichen der DB (momentaner Eigentümer) und der Stadt Stuttgart Ideen für den Erhalt und die Umnutzung der alten Eisenbahnbrücke 'Rosensteinbrücke' mitzugeben, damit diese nicht abgerissen wird.
Wir wollen versuchen, durch die mögliche Umnutzung der Brücke eine Verbindung über dem Neckar zwischen Stuttgart und Bad Cannstatt für Fußgänger und Radfahrer zu schaffen, und einen qualitativ hochwertigen Aufenthaltsort mit Parkcharakter für alle Menschen in und um Stuttgart.

Stuttgart is the capital and largest city of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is located on the Neckar river in a fertile valley locally known as the Stuttgart Cauldron an hour from the Swabian Jura and the Black Forest. Stuttgart is also a transport junction, and possesses the sixth-largest airport in Germany. Such companies as Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Daimler AG, Dinkelacker, and others are headquartered there. Stuttgart is unusual in the scheme of German cities. It is spread across a variety of hills (some of them covered in vineyards), valleys (especially around the Neckar river and the Stuttgart basin) and parks. This is often a source of surprise to visitors who associate the city with its reputation as the cradle of the automobile. The city's tourism slogan is Stuttgart offers more.
The Stuttgart area is known for its high-tech industry. Stuttgart is served by Stuttgart Airport (German: Flughafen Stuttgart, IATA airport code STR), an international airport approximately 13 km (8 mi) south of the city centre on land belonging mainly to neighboring towns. Stuttgart has an inland port in Hedelfingen on the Neckar. Stuttgart is served by Autobahn A8, that runs east-west from Karlsruhe to Munich, and Autobahn A81 that runs north-south from Würzburg to Singen. The Autobahn A831 is a short spur entering the southern side of Stuttgart.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum was located on the site of the Mercedes-Benz Untertürkheim plant until March 18, 2006, and was reopened in May 2006 in the Mercedes-Benz World.
