Neem Karoli Baba नीम करौली बाबा or Neeb Karori Baba नीब करौरी बाबा) (c. 1900 - 11 September 1973) - known to his followers as Maharaj-ji - was a Hindu guru, mystic and devotee of the Hindu deity Hanuman.

Baba ji is also known outside India for being the guru of a number of Americans who traveled to India in the 1960s and 1970s, the most well-known being the spiritual teachers Ram Dass and Bhagavan Das, and the musicians Krishna Das and Jai Uttal. His ashrams are in Kainchi,Vrindavan, Rishikesh, Shimla etc places.

He came to Kainchi a small village on Nainital - Almora road in 1962 and setup a temple devoted to Lord Hanuman ji. He was a miraculous person and has many devotee from North America well known with Indian names such as Ram Das, Bhagvan das, Krishna das. He helped the needy and showed direction.
