The first time I've used my gopro for this sort of thing, seems to take fairly decent footage.

GoPro: Roughest Indoor Kart Track Ever?
The video doesn't do it justice, but this track is rough as hell! Also, to make it worse I got stuck behind a lapper about 8 minutes in that wouldn't mover over what so ever, still a fun race though. Video filmed on a GoPro Hero 4 Silver at Formula Karting Newry (Track 3)

Doagh Man John Rowan 1787-1858 Steam Coach Inventor
I've come out of Belfast on the M2 and headed for Ballyclare. Just before it i turn left for the village of Doagh. Can any good thing come out of little out of the way Doagh? Most certainly!
As you enter the village you cannot miss the substantial monument erected to the memory of local man John Rowan who designed and built a working steam powered coach that he drove down into Belfast in 1836 at the top speed of a heady 15 mph.
Versatile engineer John Rowan built ploughs, threshing machines and other farm implements which were new fangled in his day. But did he invent the first car? Maybe not but he did well.
'Rowan established a well known foundry in Doagh which fabricated iron implements, field gates, ornate entrances and the like. He later set up an agricultural machinery and boiler-making business in Belfast. He is perhaps best known for designing and building a steam coach which he drove through Belfast on 1st January 1836 leading to claims by some that this was the first motor car. He is also credited with inventing the 'piston ring' which greatly increased the efficiency of engines. He was known to have treated his workers well and clearly they appreciated this, the engraved wording on a marble tablet on the monument reading:'
'This monument is erected to perpetuate the memory of John Rowan, Esquire, by the operatives employed in his establishment and other friends, as a lasting testimonial to the worth, talents and energy by which throughout life he was distinguished.
The sole artist of his own fortune, the founder of one of the best engineering establishments in Ireland, the dispenser of employment on an extensive scale and the untiring advocate of improvement in art and science. He was no less esteemed as a general benefactor than as a sincere friend and an independent and upright man.'
I believe that it is well worth remembering his enterprise vision and clear achievements in this video.
Was he in fact the true inventor of the first working motor vehicle?
