Nehru Children's museum remains open for the visitors from
Wednesday to Friday from 11 AM to 07 PM and Saturday
to Sunday from 10 AM to 07 PM. It remains close on
Monday & Tuesday. Entry Fee is Rs. 20/- for 16 years
& above and Rs. 10/- under 16 years.Museum has a large collection
of dolls from eighty eight countries around the world,
a collection of Ganesha statues, a toy gallery and a collection
of cars.The museum has on display model based narrations of the
two great Indian epics-Mahabharata and Ramayana.
It is great place for Children.

In order to pay homage to Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, National Cultural Association established the Museum in 1972 on Panditji's name on his birthday.

Kolkata is a land of Museums. There are about seven museums in the city, of which one is the famous Nehru Children Museum. The museum, as is obvious by its name, is specifically meant for children. Established in the honor of the first Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru, this museum spread over 4 floors and is a dream world for children, with several toys and epical ambience. The conceptualization of the museum was done by a visionary statesman - Late Shri Jugal Srimal. The primary objective of this museum is to impart education to the children, through m informal means of learning.
Nehru Children Museum was opened to the general public on 14th November 1972, on the birthday of Nehruji. It comprises of four basic sections - Dolls Gallery, Toys Gallery, Ramayana Gallery, and Mahabharata Gallery. The Dolls Gallery comprises of dolls from 88 nations of the world, including the most recent addition from Thailand. Then, there are toys of oriental and western origins in the Toy Section, which are equally fascinating. The clay models depicting the story of Mahabharata and Ramayana are the most enthralling archives for the children in the museum.

Nehru Children's Museum is a museum for children which was being made in 1972 by on 14th November. The date itself signifies the importance as its the birthday of former Prime Minister of India fondly known by people to as ''Chacha Nehru''. The museum has four floors of complete stimulating edutainment for children. As soon as they enter the museum, there are hundredrs of displays that takes them into a fairyland.
