Laldiggi Park (Nehru Vihar) Laldiggi park is one of the oldest park in gorakhpur.
गोरखपुर- पूर्वांचल की पार्को में अपनी पहचान रखने वाला नेहरू विहार पार्क जो पहले इस्माईल पार्क उसके बाद लाल डिग्गी पार्क के नाम से पहचाना जाता है।देश के पहले प्रधानमंत्री पं. जवाहर लाल नेहरू का जनपद आगमन हुआ था। तो वे इसी पार्क में आए थे। नेहरू जी की चार दिनों तक यहां सभा चली। 3 जून 1940 को लाल डिग्गी पार्क में नेहरू जी का अंतिम भाषण था। यही उनकी गिरफ्तारी हुई थी। नेहरू जी को जिला कारागार में बंदी बनाया गया।
1958 में उप्र के तत्कालीन शिक्षामंत्री कमलापति त्रिपाठी ने लाल डिग्गी पार्क का जीर्णोद्धार कराया। पार्क की स्थापना भारत के प्रथम प्रधानमंत्री के जन्मदिन यानी 14 नवम्बर 1988 को नेहरू विहार पार्क की हसीन सौगात हमें मिली थी।
