It was first match between India and Pakistan after their meet in the T20 World cup final eve in South Africa.
Pakistan was desparate to change the fortune against India.
India was equally charged up by new odi captain MS Dhoni.Rahul Dravid was out of the Indian team for this series.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.Indian fielding was exceptionally well when they run out Salman Butt and the magic moment of this game is MS Dhoni's brilliance to dismiss Shahid Afridi.Just output of sheer intelligency of Dhoni.
Wickets were falling regularly of Pakistan they managed to set the target of 240 near India.Mohammed Yousuf(82*) was the highest scorer of Pakistani team.
In reply despite Tendulkar's early dismissal and Ganguly's run out India batted beautifully.MS Dhoni(63) and Yuvraj Singh(58) guided India to cross the hurdle for victory.
Shoaib Akhtar failed to create influence in this match.

The India-England ODI scheduled for Guwahati has been shifted to Mohali, according to sources close to NDTV. The decision to shift the venue came in because of the serial blasts last week in Guwahati. India and England were supposed to play in the city on November 29.
