Riding in Piston Alley .
This movie was made during a trip from Bathurst to Saint-Quentin in northern New-Brunswick,Piston Alley is the nickname of the trail going from Rodger's Lake Camp to Governor's Lodge,it's about 39km long,it's groom very wide and it's hard and flat almost every time so people run it very hard, some time to hard,a that time you got engine failure, and, normally it's mean piston burned,so,that's were the name Piston Alley came from.

The Boys at the Water Hole
We were on our way South on NB Trail 52. We had left Nepisiguit Sport Lodge, did a bit of water-skipping across the head pond and 2 or 3 Km down the trail, came across a bunch of Miramichiers having a party at another water hole. It seems a few poor unfortunate sledders hadn't given' er enough to cross the water and had swamped their sleds! The boys, of course, being the kind and thoughtful Miramichiers that they were, would jump in and rescue the poor sods after they sank! We came along (Dr. John, SuperDave and I) not knowing what the party (celebration) was for....then we figured it out! We didn't want to be part of the amusement for the afternoon so we gav'er as we should have and got through quite nicely. I'd love to know who bet on whom ...to sink! Here's a short video. I had the GoPro on and the still shots you can get from a hi resolution video are amazing!
Serpentine Lake Adventure March 21 2010
Dean and I trailered our sleds from Miramichi to Rogers Lake. After a great breakfast with Doodle, we headed West to Serpentine Lake. The snow was frozen in the early morning but softened up as the temperature rose to 10°C through the day. Sleddin' was some of the best this year. We played, stopped when we wanted, talked to everyone we saw, ate snoozed in the sun and had a BLAST! Made it to Serpentine about 2:30 PM. Got home about 10:00 that night after a great adventure. Have a look-see.
