So after Varna it was on to Sunny Beach, this was my first full day here, after it was raining on my first day (hence why I never recorded) I was happy to see the weather that I love most back!!

We visited Sunny Beach ,Bulgaria flying from Humberside airport on the 30th.May 2019 staying at the Arda Hotel on half board basic.
Sunny Beach has a very small permanent population, but during the summer the resort is home to many thousands of tourists. The main strip of high-rise hotels backing onto the beach is 5 km (3 mi) long and extends along a wide bay between Sveti Vlas and Nessebar, soon to connect with the village of Tunkovo.
The resort's construction began back in Communist times, in 1958. Construction work began at a site where there were two old wells that supplied Nessebar with water in ancient times and during the Middle Ages.
Nesebar (often transcribed as Nessebar and sometimes as Nesebur, Bulgarian: Несебър, pronounced [nɛˈsɛbɐr]) is an ancient city and one of the major seaside resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, located in Burgas Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Nesebar Municipality. Often referred to as the Pearl of the Black Sea, Nesebar is a rich city-museum defined by more than three millennia of ever-changing history. The small city exists in two parts separated by a narrow man-made isthmus with the ancient part of the settlement on the peninsula (previously an island), and the more modern section (i.e. hotels, later development) on the mainland side. The older part bears evidence of occupation by a variety of different civilisations over the course of its existence.

I recently visited Sunny Beach & Nessebar in Bulgaria ???????? - a beach resort and coastal town on the Black Sea in Eastern Bulgaria. I had heard positives and negatives about the place before arriving. I approached the place wanting to enjoy myself - let's just say I tried very hard and yet it fell so far from my expectations.
