Netarhat || Queen of Chotanagpur || Jharkhand
Netarhat , referred to as the Queen of Chotanagpur is a popular hill station in Latehar district of Jharkhand. Standing at an elevation of 1071 meters, this place offers a wide range of forests and is famous for the sunrise and sunset and the Netarhat residential school.
This is a story of two friends jaunting in the plateau of Netarhat. We started our journey on 20th September 2019 viz Kriya Yoga Express (Ranchi-Hatia Express) which costs ₹259 per person.
The very next morning we reached Ranchi railway station, from where we took an auto-rickshaw (₹40 each) to reach ITI Bus stand. Direct buses (AC/Non-AC) to Netarhat starts from here for ₹150 per person.
On reaching Netarhat, we halted at Hotel Prabhat Vihar for ₹1456 per night per room (₹1300+12% GST)

On the first day sightseeing included Koel View Point, Netarhat Lake, Nashpati Garden, Upper Ghaghri Waterfall, Netarhat Residential School (we weren't able to take videos as the school was closed), Magnolia Sunset Point which costed around ₹850.
(We weren't able to visit Lower Ghaghri Waterfall as the locals informed us that the trail to the waterfall is closed as of now.)
The next day sightseeing included ₹1600 for Lodh Waterfall which is 60 km from Netarhat.

On 22nd afternoon, we took a bus till Lohardaga for ₹90 each. From Lohardaga Railway station we boarded a local train upto Ranchi which costs ₹20 each.
That night we finally boarded on 18616 Kriya Yoga Expess (Hatia-Howrah Expess) and safely reached Howrah on 23rd morning.
