Изучение Новоафонской пещеры началось в 1961 году, когда местный житель Гиви Смыр забрался на высоту 220 метров над уровнем моря, чтобы затем спуститься в глубокую трещину в поверхности Иверской горы, называемую в народе «Бездонной ямой».

The study of the new Athos cave began in 1961 when a local resident Givi Smyr climbed to an altitude of 220 metres above sea level, then down into a deep crack in the surface of the Iberian mountains, popularly called the Bottomless pit.

朝8時ころです。後半に出る駅は廃駅ですが、線路は利用されておりモスクワとの直通列車があります。
