Une visite chaleureuse et touchante grâce a notre ami et guide Jeune qui est à l'initiative de cette association laotienne, NEW CHALLENGE DISCOVERY, qui aide à l’éducation de ces enfants non scolarisés.

Odyssey guest Pankaj did ziplining over 20 meters above the ground in her Gibbon Experience, which also includes tree house stay, waterfall trekking and wildlife searching. The cost all goes to the local Gibbon Protection program.

Discover Laos
This summer, we did a trip across parts of Laos traveling southerly starting in Huay Xai. We had the chance to explore the rain forest by foot but also by numerous zip lines with The Gibbon Experience, topping that experience off with sleeping in a ginormeous tree house. Spending endless and sometimes scary hours on a bus, we managed to get to Luang Prabang, where we instantly felt home. The Utopia bar (best place in Luang Prabang!!), the night market, Mount Phousi, rice farms, Kuang Si and Tad Sae waterfalls and much more made this place so awesome. Running out of time, we had to skip Vang Vieng and we eventually finished our trip in the Lao capital Vientiane.

Indian In Laos - Zipline in Tadfane waterfalls
Coffee Table Zipline in Tadfane waterfalls which is the highest waterfall in whole Laos is an incredibly amazing experience .
I opted Green Discovery Laos Operator for this activity.

From Vientiane (Capital) take night sleeper bus from bus station (Dep 7:30 pm) to Pakse (arr 7:00 am) which is down south of Laos approx 660 kms and took local bus from Pakse bus station to tad fane waterfalls direct bus.
U can stay in Tadfane resort from where u can take Zipline across the waterfalls.

I PAID TOO MUCH // Onward to Laos!
It's time to say goodbye to my time in Vietnam and head to my next country: Laos! I took an hour-long Lao Airlines flight from Hanoi to Luang Prabang, only to discover that I wasn't quite prepared to be in a new country.
While taking a flight from Vietnam to Laos isn't the most cost-effective for a budget traveler, I would have had to take a treacherous 20+-hour bus ride through switchback mountains to get to Luang Prabang. No thanks! A $160 well spent!
When you get to any border crossing or airport in Laos, make sure you have 35 brand new, crisp US Dollars and a passport photo to get a visa on arrival. They'll also take other currency, like Thai Baht; however, their prices in other currencies will convert to an amount that's more than 35 USD, so it's better just to have the $35.
And make sure you download a map of where you're flying to before you arrive!
