Christmas Lights switch on in a large Cotswold Town - Witney.
A lovely community festive celebration, young and old gathered to see in the start of Advent. Featuring Witney's Town Cryer, the ancient buildings of Market Square lit up for the 21st century and St Marys Church.

Whitbread PLC launches new brand 'hub by Premier Inn'
Whitbread PLC, the UK's largest hotel group, is delighted to announce the launch of its new hotel concept, 'hub by Premier Inn'. The new concept will target major UK city centres such as London and Edinburgh, with the first 'hub by Premier Inn' to open on St. Martin's Lane in London in summer 2014.
'hub by Premier Inn' is a new generation of compact, city centre hotel with ingenious, contemporary room design and excellent connectivity that will offer good value for money and appeal to customers who value price, location and design over space.
At 11.4 sq.m a 'hub' room is compact, and thanks to its innovative design every centimetre is optimised with a desk that folds into the Hypnos pocket-sprung bed, luggage storage under the bed, an en suite bathroom with power shower, free wifi and a 40 inch smart screen TV.
'hub by Premier Inn' will be the UK's first hotel with its own app, letting customers control their hotel experience. The 'hub' app means customers can book and check in online, as well as pre-select their room temperature and light settings. They can even choose which TV or radio channel they want playing in their room when they arrive and stream content from their phone or tablet direct to their TV.

Skinful - Watch Your Back
Skinful formed in 1999 in Witney. The original line-up was: Gavin - vocals, Spike - guitar, Steve - bass and Mandy - drums. Steve also doing vocals and currently bass for fellow Oxfordshire band Loyalty. Mandy was also in original line-up of Loyalty, but she's out of both bands now.
Skinful made a self-released 3-track demo tape.

Abandoned House Witney (Everything Left Inside)
I know we've not uploaded in about a year but we got some new stuff coming soon just bear with us.
Today i'm at an abandoned house which is one the few abandoned places currently in Witney. Access was possibly the easiest ever as all i had to do was walk through the open gates and open front door. So not secured what so ever. But yeah enjoy this little explore and we'll have some new content up soon.

Spice lounge Burford - Best Restaurant In Oxfordshire 2018
Burford Indian restaurant, Spice Lounge was awarded with TMIICA’s Best Restaurant in Oxfordshire award on Monday 12th November at The Royal Regency in London.
The restaurant was also recently awarded with ARTA’s (Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards) South Central Region award on Sunday 30th September.

The Standards - The Proposition
Music Video for The Standards, a thai-british band based in Bangkok.
Formed nearly a year ago (June 2007)
and have launched themsleves into the Bangkok music scene.
Ayu, Mc and Nit make up the Thai half of the band then Matt Smith and Paul Smith complete the British side.
English roots, busy streets and booze have all influenced The Standards sound, which is somewhere between Kasabian, Blur and Chas n Dave!
About the music video: The Standards worked in collaboration with Silpakorn University International college for this music video. A team of 9 students in their third year program worked from March to April to create The proposition music video, for their class Advanced editing and Special Effects.

Oxfordshire Country Walk Cotswolds Blenheim Palace Woodstock to Wootton round
Our video is a guided circular walk in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. From Woodstock we walk through the grounds of Blenheim Palace, the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill, to Wootton. This is an easy walk along grass and gravel footpaths and tracks, minor tarmac road and short distance on main road. There are some gradual inclines and declines.
Elevation: approx lowest point 78.90m (258.86ft) approx highest point 146.10m (363.85ft) approx ascent 142.50m (467.52ft).
Approx 6.5 miles allow 2½ - 3 hours using OS Explorer Map 180, Oxford Witney & Woodstock. This walk is done clockwise.
Start point: Free car park in Hensington Road.
