The new Yamuna bridge built jointly by Hindustan Construction Company and Hyundai Engineering and Construction, is India's first cable stayed six lane road bridge in India, representing modern design structure. This large bridge has two pylons made of concrete, which support a large part of bridge deck with the help of attached steel cables.

New yamuna bridge in Allahabad is most attraction place in Allahabad now a days. This Bridge is near about thirteen year old. This Bridge is build over the Yamuna River and connecting city of Allahabad to its neighborhood of Naini. Started to built 2001 it take four years to complete and completed in year 2005 started for public use. This is constructed by one of the popular consulted by COWI A/S, a Danish consulting company. Numbers of vehicle like taxi, cars, Heavy vehicle, buses, trucks etc. are roaming on it. It is considered as the 7th stunning bridge of India.

The bridge runs North-South across the Yamuna river connecting the city of Allahabad to its neighborhood of Naini. The construction was consulted by COWI A/S, a Danish consulting company.

Naini (also known as Naini Industrial Area) is a satellite neighborhood and a twin city of Allahabad, India. By 1950s Naini was established as the chief industrial area of the city.

Naini is located on the banks of River Yamuna, opposite Allahabad City. To the north, across the Ganges, is Jhunsi, which is a part of Allahabad itself. It is noteworthy that there are no direct paths or roadways between Jhusi and Naini. Mostly every basic thing of daily use is available.

The total length of the bridge is 1510 m with a longest span of 260m which is supported by a cable which stays in a concrete anchor bridges.
